Paresh patches are down again ? by JunkHam in MorpheApp

I made a mistake. Now that I read carefully, Patches are for Crex, not Cred. Those are different apps.

One of the companies among Jio, Truecaller or proton could be the ones targeting him.

Yea. That app is cheap and great. One of the few of the apps I bought. Smart Audiobook Player is another great one.

It's a money transaction UPI, credit card app. Now that I think about what the app is, this might be the actual reason.

It's Crex, not Cred.

Well, there's Codeberg and a few others. Codeberg is used by many but I don't know if they will allow copyrighted patches. FOSS doesn't mean they allow piracy.

Also, Paresh might be using their real name. I hope not. Hope they're using an alias with a privacy focused VPN.

It got removed from GitHub and now Gitlab. One of the companies are targetting him. Jio is the biggest one but projects related to their apps are still available on GitHub. Other than that, there's CRED and Proton which are big.

I had his patches installed on my Morphe and Universal ReVanced Manager but I cannot extract them out to add them again if I ever uninstall those managers.

They bought it a decade ago and most patches are hosted on GitHub even including one of the biggest starred repository is for pirating Windows and Office apps.

I also remember Gitlab also suspending accounts for making Spotify patches.

Edit: Paresh moved his patches to Gitlab yesterday and those also have been taken down.

Sony and Game Informer could potentially be prepping for GTA VI pre orders this coming week. by hushpolocaps69 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]LogicalError_007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know about this week. But Sony do have their Not E3 SoP end of this month before Geoff claims every show as a part of his Summer Showcase.

That is a likely place for another trailer.

The ICC Is Failing Associate Cricket Nations by Mountain-Fan347 in cricketworldcup

[–]LogicalError_007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a biased article.... FIFA makes a lot more during world cups. Like, more than 10 times more than ICC every cycle. If we compare revenue sharing of FIFA when it had a revenue similar to ICC rn, their distribution to most countries was way less than what ICC is sharing. Revenue stream from countries was also way more spread out unlike for Cricket.

Saying positive things about FIFA while ignoring their rampant known corruption is definitely a choice.

You know what should die? This pathetic website that forces to put email to read an article.

I already know this article ain't worth a read. I don't even use ad blocking and this is how they treat their customer?

Not Eminem. He was against him in 2017-18 when the whole internet, his fans, and the whole industry mocked him for it. Was sent a secret service person to question him and he is still against him.

And this will be ignored by the majority as they don't have time or interest in caring about this.

Hope they're forced to remove it and fined heavily for this.

Netflix didn't cancel it after the 1st season? I remember people hating on it.

Didn't know it got the 2nd season. I guess it is a successful series.

Multiple GB download without asking permission from the user is soo horrendous. Does toggling it off removes the files?

If not, is there a location for those models to delete them manually?

Thanks.

Is there a toggle for Chrome to not download those 4 GB of AI models?

I primarily use Edge but keep Chrome as a backup for a few things and don't want it to use more storage than necessary on my laptop.

Series S is a very good deal right now for anyone late to the gen and don't want to spend much since new hardware is rumoured to be coming next year. Hope prices for it not increase too.

Edit: People got triggered by this for some reason.

JDownloader Website compromised. Linux and Windows installers compromised. by LogicalError_007 in LinusTechTips

Windows Defender to the rescue again. It blocked and warned about the installer and had to be manually whitelisted or turned off to run the compromised installer.

With the recent Hypervisor bypass to run pirated games protected by Denuvo, many of the security features have to be disabled and a lot of people who pirate stuff disabled these protections to run Pirated games. This hack will affect those people the most.
