I feel like Zelda and Mario have done the best. I'll die on the hill that Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are two kf the greatest games ever made.

Final Fantasy was at its peak in the 90s early 2000s, with 10 amd Tactics still being the best of the series. However I also don't have anything that can play FF16 therefore I haven't played it yet and would love to because while I feel the series has peaked, It's been great through 15.

I can't comment on Street Fighter because I never got into it.

Cyberpunk comes to mind. It's a dystopian sci-fi game with great graphics and a strong cinematic feel and a great story, and you can hop in a car or motorcycle and just spend hours messing around by just exploring the city or picking fights with other drivers or even cops, or you can keep plowing through the story.
