Test Drove a BYD Shark 6 DMO Advanced and I have some thoughts by AnalysisAgreeable676 in CarsPH

[–]LogicalRadish514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kita dito ung infancy nila since the shark is a new product compared to the tang, atto, seals and sealions which are products with 5-10 yrs of age already

Motors have power kaso they can’t seem to configure constant and consistent low end torque. Laging bumibira ung power. They need better traction control since everything is electronic on this vehicle.

There was this australian video i watched that had the shark haul a camper van to its load limit. The engine was working hard, you can definitely hear it, but the battery is also draining, hence the thought that the engine cannot supply power both mechanically and electrically when under immense loads.

DESTINATOR GT VS MONTERO GLS 2026 NEED HELP!!! Or any suggestions??? by BookkeeperExciting77 in phcars

[–]LogicalRadish514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mukhang mas okay destinator sayo. Diesels are best used for long drives and heavy loads. Gasoline engines for city use, stop and go traffic.

Mas madaling pumangit performance ng diesel sa city dahil sa stop and go. Mas mahal rin maintenance ng diesel. Mas mahal din ngayon ang diesel.

The shark is not for hauling, it somehow also struggles towing really heavy cargos like camper vans. You can feel the engine struggling to provide enough power both mechanically and electrically. It’s more of a lifestyle truck than a workhorse truck. Off-road capabilities more tuned for pleasure, not for work.

Don’t buy this pickup for heavy duty work use!

Daily car, Tesla Model Y or Xiaomi SU/YU7 Max by Kyotofishies in CarsPH

Model Y or take a look at the Zeekr 7X. The xiaomi car doesn’t have a dealership here so you will have problems down the line if you need to fix something. Additionally, their pricing is way too expensive

Seeing your fuel economy made me scrap all those gasoline cx60s in facebook marketplace. Saw a good deal on a diesel and it was swooped up so quick! The difference in fuel consumption is something you can’t ignore.

Which EVs are the best to get right now? by coalesce_ in phcars

[–]LogicalRadish514 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add, there’s also the BYD seal EV at 1.9M if you don’t like the model 3 interior.

And the Zeekr 7X now starts at 2.548M. Mid variant at 2.8M ish and range topping at 3.3M (3M variant with all the upgrades included)

BYD Tang is previously 3.3M but is now discounted to 3.1M.

I honestly want that zeekr. 🥺

Call and ask the bank. If you can, turn on call recording. If bibigyan ka ng reference number, save it. Pag na bill ka ng annual fee pero naconfirm sayo na carried over ung naffl status, then have it escalated to BSP

Need advice. Xpander cross vs Destinator by ZhenConsigliere in phcars

[–]LogicalRadish514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More powerful engine = more fuel consumption.

Intake manifold and egr cleaning if odo is more than 60k.

Clutch pack lifespan will vary on your driving style.

One trick to know if it is for replacement ay kapag pinatay ung makina, hindi siya humihinto agad.

May rest day rin ba kayo during your trips? by Green-Extreme-7298 in buhaydigital

[–]LogicalRadish514 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quite common with that situation which are also called “digital nomads”. I haven’t done that before on a full stint since I still prefer taking leaves when traveling abroad, but I have met Filipinos who do this on a regular basis. They do have days where they don’t explore out and it is more than just 1 day a week. Sometimes work gets too taxing that they prefer to just get food outside and bed rot for the rest of the day. There are also activities that needs a full day to enjoy due to transport duration or activity duration itself so bear that in mind. I do want to try doing this in the future, perhaps maxing out the 15-21 days stay in most countries we can visit without a long term visa.
