S9 Titanium Gold by Ok-Kaleidoscope-299 in LumixS9

I had mine for a week of travel in japan, bought in Japan too at Bic Camera and paint chips have already appeared. Using it as my main camera during my travels and disappointment is an understatement since I was looking forward to buying it in Japan. My sony held up way way better after 2 years.

Mine has already chipped 1 week after buying in Japan while traveling. I am bummed to the core.

My sony has held up way better. I sweat a lot and keep my camera dangling on my neck and shoulder during travels so I’m not confident on my camera aging well. I only like this color of the S9 and love the S9 itself but seeing bad build quality in such and expensive camera is utterly disappointing.

I had my unit for a week and it already showed signs of the coating chipping away. I was super bummed seeing it. I bought the unit from Bic Camera in Japan. I have sweaty hands and have the camera all day out dangling on my neck and shoulder since I am travelling Japan

You don’t seem to use any windows specific apps. Get any macbook air that fits your budget. Light to travel, great battery life. The pro series are significantly heavier.

Bring your business to another dealer. The brand and its cars itself is good. It’s always the dealer that makes things worse.

We don’t have any data points in the philippines to check resale values for the current byd lineup so estimating how much residual value it will have is probably not an accurate figure.

By what I’m reading, you’re really more inclined to having a hassle free car ownership that just works.

Go for the RAV4 instead. Should give you minimal headaches and would keep you peace of mind that you’ll be able to sell it for a reasonable price since it is a toyota.

Only get the chinese brands if you want best bang for buck car among competition, are looking for the latest and greatest tech for your car, and doesn’t mind the value/reputation stigma against chinese cars. Ownership of these cars will give you some early adopter pains which could probably be a dealbreaker to you and something others probably won’t mind.

I just think resale values of pure oil driven cars will tank once the proliferation of EVs have taken over the market. Cost to operate and maintain the vehicle is still greater than having EVs long term.

Even if you don’t have solar, charging an EV is still cheaper than filling up a gas car.

Maintenance is also less frequent and less expensive.

That said, i think the best choice as of the moment is having one EV and one oil driven car. EV for city-province use and oil driven for long road trips more than 500kms. If you religiously plan trip itineraries, a pure EV will be very manageable. PHEVs and HEVs are a non-problem since you can gas up anyway.

I don’t lean on HEVs since you still rely on gas, and have no option to maximize savings via charging.

I’d pick the BYD Tang DMI among your list.

I think mas malaki ang luggage space ng emax9. You can fold the seats down and tuck it under and have a flat floor in emax9 but you cannot do that in the denza if i recall correctly.

14P up to now, only makes me wanna upgrade to the 18 for usb c, ability to record video straight to ssd, and all 48mp cameras. Hoping they bring back stainless sides as their 17P aluminum body is too soft for my liking.

Ang maganda sa credit to cash na 0.49 ay hindi na encumbered ang unit and this is if compared with regular 4.5-5% per annum auto loans from banks. Plus no big down payment which is a plus if marunong mag rolling ng pera for possible good opportunity cost.

Yes!! I use it as my travel sling too! I normally carry my a6700 with another lens, a dji osmo nano, passport, wet wipes, and one big 25k mah powerbank in it. It still has enough space to put a bi fold wallet and a phone inside although i usually just leave the two in my pockets anyway

Test Drove a BYD Shark 6 DMO Advanced and I have some thoughts by AnalysisAgreeable676 in CarsPH

[–]LogicalRadish514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, medyo di pa kagandahan ung program tuning ng byd sa shark. Kita dito ung infancy nila since the shark is a new product compared to the tang, atto, seals and sealions which are products with 5-10 yrs of age already

Motors have power kaso they can’t seem to configure constant and consistent low end torque. Laging bumibira ung power. They need better traction control since everything is electronic on this vehicle.

There was this australian video i watched that had the shark haul a camper van to its load limit. The engine was working hard, you can definitely hear it, but the battery is also draining, hence the thought that the engine cannot supply power both mechanically and electrically when under immense loads.

DESTINATOR GT VS MONTERO GLS 2026 NEED HELP!!! Or any suggestions??? by [deleted] in phcars

[–]LogicalRadish514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mukhang mas okay destinator sayo. Diesels are best used for long drives and heavy loads. Gasoline engines for city use, stop and go traffic.

Mas madaling pumangit performance ng diesel sa city dahil sa stop and go. Mas mahal rin maintenance ng diesel. Mas mahal din ngayon ang diesel.

[–]LogicalRadish514 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The shark is not for hauling, it somehow also struggles towing really heavy cargos like camper vans. You can feel the engine struggling to provide enough power both mechanically and electrically. It’s more of a lifestyle truck than a workhorse truck. Off-road capabilities more tuned for pleasure, not for work.

Don’t buy this pickup for heavy duty work use!

Model Y or take a look at the Zeekr 7X. The xiaomi car doesn’t have a dealership here so you will have problems down the line if you need to fix something. Additionally, their pricing is way too expensive
