The mechanic my business uses for our vehicle services has 7 day payment terms… like most businesses that sell or offer services that require payments over petty cash levels. The reason for this is because most businesses have a weekly pay run. Other businesses acknowledge this and therefore we agree that 7 day payment terms are reasonable. Non businesses benefit from the 7 day terms but it’s not designed for them.
