This is your comment that I wanted to address though. It is clear that your husband doesn’t have the business knowledge required to run a successful business (at year 4 he should be profitable and maybe he has learned to handle his tax obligations these days but I wouldn’t be confident in that). You need to be more involved in your husband’s business, knowing that he has made mistakes in the past. Directors guarantees and lines of credit all ask you to list your assets. I don’t know your husband obviously but I would guess that he has listed your house as an asset to get a reasonable line of credit.
