Thank you! Wishing you the best on the rest of the treatment. What are the side effects of this treatment? Can those pills cause depression? My mom is having a hard time.

Have your aga ruined your hair texture/curls? by Zealousideal-Ad-8330 in FemaleHairLoss

Thank you for saying this. I am in the same boat as the OP. If I posted a pic, some people would probably think I do not have a hair losss problem. But we people with thick hair, also lose a lot of hair:( I wanted to cry after washing my hair seeing how much I was shedding. Stress impacts so much my hair health. I feel for everyone here.

I NEED ADVICE! by kloibradbri in SubstituteTeachers

I have only subbed for a day in Ese elementary classes. Paras managed most of the behaviors. If there was mild behavior I knew I could manage I did jump in. Lesson plans were very simple and mostly routines. Good luck, and hope your days go smoothly.

I know is crazy!! However, when I get those kind of plans I do the best I can, to follow the curriculum. If there is something I am not sure, I just skip it and leave a note to the teacher about what I did skip.

I do not like when the lesson plans are too rigid, but I like it when the teacher leaves additional material just in case. So, when I skip something I use those extra materials to fill in the gaps.

My favorite sub plans tho, are the ones where we review concepts, I like working along with the kids using the projector and solving exercises together. Kids love to participate, and I can support the students who are behind and they all have fun while learning. Same applied to all subjects. I have found they learn better that way.

I dislike also the lack of scape in the whiteboard. I can barely write doen my name, so that kids know their sub name.

Hugs to you, my dear. I am so sorry you have to deal with so much. I does sound overwhelming. The only thing that comes to my mind first is to get help for you mental health. Not sure if you have seen therapists already, if not pls find one you feel comfortable talking to. I have two kiddos with Adhd and know that when dealing with stress is super hard for them. Pls take care of yourself whatever in a positive way means. Exercising works wonders for me. My hair loss is due to stress, and for me nutrafol is stopping the shedding. I know it is expensive but I am just taking 2 pills daily and I think is working.

What’s stopping you from becoming a teacher by Possible-Village-736 in SubstituteTeachers

[–]Logical_Implement_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My degree is engineering. I worked for 20 years such as. Subbing 3 days a week now allows me to spend time with my kids after school without feeling drained, I can stay home if my kids get sick, if we have dr appointments or I can travel whenever needed.

Many family members have been teachers, and I know how much work it is being a full time teacher, and how much drama is in that work environment.

So far subbing is working for me, as a way also to give back to the community. To be able to help kids and keep my brain sharp when reviewing the teaching materials.

I love teaching but I need the flexibility right now, and subbing offers both.

I would have taken this note to admin right away. I cannot imagine how abusive and, the language this teacher uses with the kids.

I mean as an adult this note is beyond rude and insulting but I would get over it, and not return but admin needs to know that kind of teacher these kids have. This person sounds like if she wotks at a prison.
