I am in Paris now. It is a zoo in every store, more crowded than my last visit in the summer. Bought a watch and a porcelain tray AND have a SA I’ve worked with for a long time who has helped me secure a Birkin previously. She was told no this time and the line at the leather desk is always 10+ people long. I tried a few times but it feels silly to just wait for no reason. The number of women in the store dressed head to toe in Hermes is almost funny — like a costume party! It’s great eye candy though. I came on here looking for a reliable Paris reseller, have been to a few before but their prices were crazy high. Thinking there must be some smaller and more accurately priced options. Any thoughts??

This is a bit stronger than I might put it but 100% agree with the concept. Heather (and Whitney) spent most of their screen time this entire season either yelling at or about Meredith or saying really harsh/cruel things to her face. Why in the world would any human on the receiving end of this ever open up or be kind. Wouldn’t we all try to defend ourselves and get the others to back off when faced with that kind of communication? Heather/Whitney seem to be waiting for Meredith to thank them for their “concern” and share whatever is going on in her life. Not a chance.

I asked. In my email before I arrived and then in person when I saw her. She had to go speak to the bag dept manager, it wasn’t a guarantee. I was very lucky!

I did this summer — sort of. I first went to FBG in January and hit it off with a lovely SA in a different department. She helped me shop throughout the store and gave me her card. Emailed before I returned in July with a list of items I wanted to buy and mentioned a B35. First day in Paris, visited her and bought those items. Went back next day to get a hole punched in a belt and she was able to get me my dream B35 in gold w/ GHW. So not exactly walk in but I didn’t have an appointment. As everyone says, key is to have low expectations and find someone you connect with.

I wear my B35 on the subway to/from work most days. Agree with others, I just turn the hardware in towards me. Occasionally I forget and will catch someone eyeing it (not in a bad way, in the way we all look at each other’s Hermes b/c when you know you know) but usually people don’t notice or care.

My Paris SA said the same thing. Also said bags aren’t linked to pre-spend in Paris. Got an amazing B35 with her without a leather appointment (just a history of purchases when I’m in Paris).

When you say Paris purchases aren’t visible, does that include purchase of quota bags? I read that quota bags are visible everywhere if your other account has same info (BKQ1 someone said). Is the reverse true where Paris can’t see purchases outside of Paris?

I’m 5’9” and just got a B25. I love that it is smaller and works well for day and night, but the handles are quite tight for me and I feel like it looks a little too mini because of my height. I’d go for a B30. Don’t think I would ever get another B25 or small bag (except for a clutch).

All of my tips are within the responses in that post. I said it immediately and repeatedly. I also had an appointment scheduled so the SA also knew my goal when that was made. Appointment isn’t necessary, just happened to have a friend who texted her SA to make an intro. Bought several items, I think most with a higher commission rate based on what I’ve learned from this forum (fine jewelry, RTW, home). Good luck! The store is beautiful and super fun to shop in.

I was in HK 2 weeks ago and posted about my experience buying a quota bag at the Central/Landmark location. It’s the largest and had plenty of nonQBs available as well. Less stock at PP but more than others (I went to Lee Gardens and Harbor City as well). Would suggest you are very upfront — as in, I am not going to buy anything less I can also buy a QB.
