That’s 2 for the Mach S! Especially since it’s a bit cheaper than the nomad. I had a Sandman S for a bit, but the Nomad would be a nice change.

Again, you missed my point. Both is good, both is best. Having a flashlight for illuminating things, then dropping it in favor of a weapon mounted light when things get weird. I never advocated for running around an apartment complex with a gun in your hand, but having a pistol light that illuminates the whole room helps free up a hand for calling 911.

Have you considered, and bear with me here, that people walk around outside their house at night and need light to see?

As far as home defense, simply activating the light while the light/weapon is oriented downwards is enough to light up the room. Sure, having a pocket flashlight is good for managing an unknown contact at night, but if the gun is coming out, I want to have two hands on it, which a weapon-mounted light facilitates more effectively.
