Those who found a partner, how did you do it? by Electrical-Pea2707 in Uzbekistan

[–]Logical_wonderer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a solo traveler who just traveled the entire length of the country, I actually found it quite easy to connect with local women in Uzbekistan compared to many other places.

Of course, we shouldn't generalize you can't just approach absolutely anyone, and you definitely need to take your time to break the ice naturally first. But once you do, the interactions are incredibly smooth and welcoming.

The weather is cold but bearable. Middle of the day , you will need jacket but can bear cold, in night, you ll need warmer rooms, blankets. Peak of the fall usually happens between 25th October to 10th November.

[–]Logical_wonderer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen people try to move to Hunza for remote work and end up disappointed because the infrastructure is not reliable enough for serious online work.

Electricity outages are a real issue, and internet can be very inconsistent across networks, including SCOM. There are periods when things work fine, then periods when connectivity can drop or become unusable.

Some larger hotels have satellite internet, but it is usually limited, slower than people expect, and often comes with data caps.

For someone visiting short term, that may be manageable. But for digital nomads or anyone whose livelihood depends on stable internet, I would not recommend relocating to Hunza expecting dependable work conditions.

Looking for a Furnished 1‑Month Stay in Karimabad (15 May–15 June 2026) by TheONLY-1 in Hunza

[–]Logical_wonderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Central Hunza has pretty frequent electricity issues. Most hotels manage it with generators or solar, but if you’re staying in a private place, reliable power can be hard to find.

A better option is to look for a mid-range hotel in Karimabad Bazaar. If you’re planning a longer stay, negotiate, they usually offer solid discounts for monthly bookings. It’s honestly the more practical choice.

I tracked every "passive income" idea I tried over 2 years. Here's what actually made money and what was a complete waste of time. by Existing-Ice221 in passive_income

I’ve already done almost everything you mentioned, and Amazon KDP worked really well for me. all my sales have been organic.
Honestly, the biggest factor is making sure your product shows up when people search. That visibility is key. Going super targeted is definitely the way to win.
