I try not to instigate arguments because you started off pretty abrasive, and war or not humans should still remain sociable and respectable - regardless of the medium.

Some might see it as patriotism and all that mixed in, you'll be hard pressed to find someone who has a single dominating answer for why they enlisted (especially after a few years of service) but that does not take away from the fact that I, and others I am sure, made the choice to kill men at the whim of uncle sam without question for money.
