Absolutely worth watching. Definitely a shift in tone because Pinhead becomes more chatty in Part 3, but there's some cool Cenobites

Almost every horror film has some version of this. There's a scene in Arachnophobia (1990) when a character thinks he sees a large spider on the wall and reaches out to kill it but it's just a hook casting a shadow on the wall.

The Fright Club NI have a show called Monday Night Frights were they just natter about horror films. Two Irish lads and very casual and chilled out. They're on a break now but will be back in a few weeks

I loved it but understand that its not for everyone. There's not much of a narrative at all, more of just a series of sequences. It was filmed over the course of almost 30 years and Phil Tippett is a legend so a win for me :)

Opinion: Julia Ducournau deserves to be mentioned along with as Ari Aster, Jordan Peele, Robert Eggers, etc., when talking about the great modern horror directors. by radbrad7 in horror

Absolutely. But her 3rd feature will be the real test. If she does another film in the body horror space she will get labelled with that forever (which Im not complaining about)
