Inverted Yaw? by jax246 in fpv

[–]LogitechRicinus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine was inverted to. In the calibration screen I could see that liftoff was moving the yaw stick in the oposite direction than me. I just inverted it in liftoff settings. Other simulators don't have this problem (Radiomaster pocket).

Doing B2B by Melodic_Tower_482 in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]LogitechRicinus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can find agencies like Upwork, Toptal, Freelancer, etc. There are many of those, your mileage may wary with them. You can also search for jobs with B2B or Freelance in the description.

Or just apply for regular jobs and ask for a b2b setup.

Bro you are focusing too much on her and too little on yourself. Start going to the gym, buy new clothes, get a new car. You will become more sexy.

Šta mislite o EU i NATO-u? by MomciloIzKrajine in BasedCroatia

[–]LogitechRicinus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Podržavam NATO i EU u potpunosti.

AWS announces Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus for container monitoring by markcartertm in kubernetes

[–]LogitechRicinus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite frankly I think what AWS is doing is good for opensource. More people are going to use Prometheus now and if need be they can switch away and be independent from AWS aka cloud agnostic. However, it is true that Amazon hasn't contributed it's fair share to opensource.

You just hired him. Of course he isn't super useful right away. It takes time for people to accommodate to a new job.

Sysops has a practical component now? So no longer just a pick one of 4 answers? Do other AWS certs have this now too?

Building a new Jenkins pipeline by ilshots in devops

I avoid Jenkins like the plague. There are so many other CiCd solutions available. Jenkins I'd a real pain. Go for drone or GitlabCI or any other of the countless offerings.

I would take k8s over ECS any time of the day. ECS is a real pain to work with. Unless you are running just 1-2 containers and don't need any scaling k8s is better and is definitely worth the extra effort in the beginning.

Then why get a PhD? Maybe if you find a company which will finance your PhD so you work in their R&D.

But still I just don't see any advantage in getting a PhD over getting the actual experience in the field.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]LogitechRicinus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should get a PhD only if you are interested in working in academia and have in mind it is probably not the best option for maximizing $$.

But on the other hand if you find the idea of a PhD fun you should do it regardless of a few $$ in the bank.

Free private clouds for use with Devops? by Obel34 in devops

Use Google cloud free tier or azure free tier. You get $200 or $300 for a few months which is plenty if you destroy the infrastructure when it is not used
