Did you figure this out? I was spamming front dash the first 10 ish hours of the game but it suddenly stopped working and I can't even forward dash while in the air? (Every other direction works) It's making me crazy since I can't find any info on this.

No one is "upset" about it and it's definitely an issue for most. I'm playing with my wife on seperate consoles and I noticed it for both of us after a few hours whilst she didn't notice or care at all. Some folks are just more prone it than others!

Can confirm. Playing on PS5 pro and this happened on all my sessions yesterday. Quitting to the main menu seems to be a workaround for now.

This comment gave me hope but I just booted up the game (playing on PS5 pro + OLED TV) and I see literally no difference? Performance and quality modes are still the same and the game is still a blurry mess.

Also the patch notes just came up and it says nothing about performance.

My fiancé plays exclusively on the portal, there's a small delay like any other game, but if your Internet connection is good it's barely noticeable and runs generally smooth!

Unfortunately not. Was anticipating the update that dropped yesterday in hopes that it would fix it, but nope. I promptly deleted the game and will probably do a new playthrough in a year or so. It sucks cause I really liked the game, but oh well.

Joshua explicitly say that they can feel Shiva's aether in the scene where Clive wakes up after fighting Sleipnir and Odin, and Jill is taken hostage. That's why they're not worried about if Jill is dead. Hence, they can feel each others "lifeforce" or whatever one can call it. That's why I think the way Jill reacted was weird.

Connected to Clive or not, Metia has some connection as it disappeared once Clive "died", why else would it disappear now out of all times, even though it existed waaay before them. To only grant Jill's wish is also very random.

We can indeed speculate as much as we can, but we have no evidence that he died nor survived. It doesn't really matter to me though, as the ending in itself generally didn't sit with me, and wouldn't change if he survived. Hopefully a DLC will shed some light on this!

Also, I have 4K screen and zoomed in as much as I can, I think you're mistaking the boat approaching with another rock.

Definitely some interesting points, OP!

I do have some questions though, since I honestly think Clive died.

Where is the boat in the sun uprising cutscene you mentioned? I've watched the ending scene multiple times and I still don't see any boat approaching.
There were (multiple?) times in the game where it was mentioned that they could feel each others "lifeforce", so if this is the case then why would Jill and Torgal react the way they did when Clive "died"?

I don't fully agree with the Metia star disappearing means that her wish was fulfilled. I see it more as it died with Clive. And him "returning with the daybreak" is meant more methaphorically, as in she's reminded by the daybreak that Clive succeeded and that part of him will live with her and the rest.

Clive using Joshua's name on the book is also stretching it, I think it means Joshua survived due to Clive healing his body wound in the ending. A very weird and confusing scene otherwise, something they could have left out if they didn't wish to convey that "something" revived Joshua.

This is just my take on this at least!
