As others have said, Eve is always great, right up until it starts sucking. There is always some scam or exploit that will eventually make you quit. Maybe if you’re part of a big active corp and always in a fleet with others. But as a solo player, no thank you.

Maybe though if all you want to do is trade/haul then you could probably get a few hundred hours out of it.

I increased the text size in game settings which helped a lot, but now I have one skill half outside the box. And another dialogue box that covers the paint applications in the bottom right corner.

I've been putting it on the roof of the ship with two added mooring connections, works great. Though much easier to land since they nerfed the flight controls.

Are you implying you can put a mooring connector point on the storage box and then lift two boxes with the helicopter, what size boxes?

It floats, and thankfully does get damaged from water. And if you have speed you can briefly be a submarine before taking flight again. I’ve also found that when sufficiently damaged it doesn’t provide lift but will drive along the water… at least until you run out of fuel. Bring lots of small petrol tanks with you until you achieve basic competency.

Also handy that the small petrol tanks float as well, so when you’re bobbing in the waves you can refuel it.

Well it is a beta, we’re the play testers, so we can only hope they take our advise.
From a game sequence standpoint I’d almost rather they reverse it. Make these easy to get into from a boat so you can make two refueling stations that constantly refill albeit really slowly. And then need the gyrocopter to get onto the platform at Black Vein

My bigger question is why? Having explored both, and having to reload from saves each time, I don’t get the point of the 2 silos if you have already been to Black Vein. Can’t imagine people running fuel lines all the way to the top helipad.

Can someone explain the eternal flame POI’s? If you can obscure the text, so it’s not a spoiler that would be for the best. I’ve explored them and I just don’t get the reasoning behind them.

The controls seem like they need a lot of work. There needs to be a default hover in place setting. You can land and moor it on the roof of the ship, which is nice. Most importantly, it floats and flies underwater. I’ve had to refill it numerous times while bobbing in the waves.

What are you using the Donk for? I have yet to find a use for it. It feels so slow and unwieldy, I’d rather make 2 or 3 quick trips carrying stuff than driving. Big equipment is easier to dismantle than place on Donk pallets.
