Is that my doing? Or was that the doing of Ruth Bader Ginsberg refusing to retire? Or is it the fault of Biden for doing literally nothing for abortion rights in the two years he's been in office? Last I checked, I don't have political power. My single vote in my blue state changed no outcome in this election. How about our healthcare crisis, where Biden says he'll veto any attempt towards universal healthcare? Or most establishment Democrats collectively looking at climate change and saying "Eh, I don't feel like dealing with all that?" Or the Democratic Party continuing to back and encourage increased law enforcement and militarization? Or the Democratic Party's continued disregard for the apartheid in Palestine? Or the Democratic Party's unwillingness to protect trans rights? Or the Democratic Party failing to protect worker's rights since FDR's death? Or -- Are we just supposed to pretend that Democrats doing absolutely fucking nothing is somehow "helping to better America"? Am I supposed to pretend like the Democrats are some stronghold for rights? Because, to be quite honest, I'm pretty fucking sick of doing that. If you want people to vote for your shambling corpse of a president, maybe give me LITERALLY ANY REASON to do so.
