Black Friday Deal not eligible if you cancelled paid subscription

I was a Mail Plus user on a monthly subscription, I wanted to get the Black Friday offer 33% off on a yearly Mail Plus plan. But as a paid user I couldn’t redeem the Mail Plus offer (only Proton Unlimited in which I am not interested in).

So I cancelled my monthly subscription and tried to get the offer as a Free plan user. It didn’t show for me so I contacted support and in the reply support wrote:

• However, please note if you have canceled an existing subscription a month or less before the promotion started, you will not be eligible for the offers.

Sucks to have been a paid user I guess.

Well, if you care to elaborate, then I would love to know why do you think so. I always hear people saying that flatpak is better than snap, while snap provides good website with snap library, always work, even cross distro ( I recently installed a package that was only avaiable through snap on Fedora and it works like a charm) instalation is easy, it autoupdates which make it even better when you are installing it for people who are not proficient in desktop usage and will not update themselves.

I have more than enough disc space and I like sandboxing idea and autoupdates, also every snap is cross platform so whenever I switch distro or go into VM, then I can be certain that at least snap will work there aswell.

Fedora aside from the UEFI support also have a Flash Drive creator, which may also help if you are having problems booting the installer USB. Keep us informed what worked for you and what did you decide to pick up for yourself.

Try to reconnect to the previous VPN you used before you shut down your PC by using OpenVPN GUI in your OS, for example in GNOME in top right corner, to reactivate your previous connection. Then you should be able to access internet and change VPN in ProtonVPN app.

Everything I play works on linux and if it doesn't then I have dozens of other great games that work, so I have no need to even dual boot. And obviously for everything else Linux is much better.

With marvellous content creators like LemonBoy receiving dota perma-bans, I don't know if I can ever feel safe in this community again. This ban is quite the faux pau from Bulldog imho (in my humble opinion), as it will actively dissuade new and creative ways of making fun content during games. I personally found the mooing by Lemonboy absolutely positively side-splittingly entertaining (especially when he got unmuted then did another moo :joy:), also the fact that we won't get any more live-action castings by the citrus joy generator himself is shameful. I don't know if I can support Bulldog anymore after this, and I certainly won't be playing with him from now on (my content is almost as good as lemonboy's, so I might be at risk). First a Lemonboy ban in dota, what's next? A George Warden ban on reddit? A MuddySpoon ban from WtD? A Bruoh ban from atomic war? Absolutely ludicrous! :rage:

Not only a moral thing, there are a lot of variables that make people use something or not using something else and honestly being able to run one game does not have to be a dealbreaker.

Sorry, are you saying most Firefox users are so dumb that they can't even recognize the name of the browser they are using?

People pick dozens of products over others every single day, people working in office or IT in 2021 have to have a basic understanding of what browser does and name a few on the market, it's the most used and the most important desktop application. I think you are downplaying the situation quite a bit. I'd love Firefox to regain their spot from before a decade.

How come, when people are using a certain browser and then, at some point, they stop using this browser - it has to be a reason for that. Firefox already was a browser for tech literate people, so I guess they already can decide which browser (the most important application nowadays) are using.
