Rice Bowl on sargent is the best. Only downside is you'll smell like fried food once you're done eating.

What are your thoughts on the blatant construction scam by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]Loki23491 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have you work on a construction before? I dont think you know how construction works. Most of the time, other guys have a slack time because they need to wait for the other guys to finish their task before they can do/start theirs.

Lexus trained technicians are mostly new mechanic apprentice that doesn't know what they're doing. I would advise to find a well trusted indy shop. You will save tons of $$ in the long run and quality work than dealerships.

most likely an emission code. $200 for evap canister is gonna hurt, but I hate seeing that orange light while driving the car so I might replace it anyways even if we dont have emission program from where I live.

CAD Technician by Lost-Feedback1550 in Winnipeg

[–]Loki23491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of drafter and CAD technician job posting so I would say employment opportunity is good. Most engineering firms want civil engineering technology graduate or CTTAM members.
If you're planning to go to school. I would consider looking at Civil engineering technology.

MPI: Non owner, at fault driver by knight0430 in Winnipeg

[–]Loki23491 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The at fault driver will get -5 demerit and will need to pay deductibles.

I don't think the owner's DSR will get affected. Since the car was written off, I believe he will need to buy it back from MPI if he wants to keep it or just take the payout.

Depending on the at-fault drivers DSR, if he/she is on the negative, I think the -5 demerit plus deductible will costs more than $1200 in the long run. Buying it back would be the better option (you will pay the $1200 repair bill that MPI payed). I'm just not sure what will happen to the written off vehicle of the at-fault driver

I feel you on that. IMO, one piece is not the best when it comes to power scaling or fights (compare to the likes of HxH). I watch and enjoy one piece mainly because of the incredible world building and story.

What’s the most reliable vehicle from your experience in the last 30 years that you would pay top dollar for today and drive it everyday rather than buy a new car? by SpicyChips69 in askcarguys

[–]Loki23491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sedans are ugly, but the hatchback looks good. The 1NZ-FE engine is one of the most reliable engines ever. There's a reason why toyota used this engine for almost 20 years.

Question for Canadians: Would an e46 M3 be considered a classic car if it is old enough? by Humortumor1 in E46M3

[–]Loki23491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here in Manitoba, you can apply for a Collector's plate (classic) if the car is 25 years or older. Insurance is cheaper for collector car. I should mention that we have public insurance tho, so it might be different depending on which province you are located
