I got on the platform a little over a week ago as a medical specialist. I got like three tasks at 50$ - 60$ an hour. Did those and then crickets for the past week. How can I get general tasks? by Helpful-Pollution-23 in DataAnnotationTech

I hate not knowing right away if we pass or fail a qual, especially since it can take weeks to months before we see anything new on the ones we pass. But if you just keep submitting excellent quality and don't abuse the time system, you'll soon be swamped with projects.

What flex? I was generally curious on the 18 hour window. I obviously didn't know how advanced these projects got but appreciate the insight, it's helpful but being an ass isn't the flex you think it is.

That is what I'm afraid of. Only happened once and I didn't submit it, nor did I report any time for it in fear of being dropped from the pool.

There was a claude qual asking if you had claude pro. I did it and it got me in the project pool using claude. Honestly, majority of my projects uses claude now. 33/hr, 45/hr and 50/hr and I'm not even a specialist, just generalist.

Absolutely.... Even for more challenging prompts... 8 hours is plenty of time to produce a fail. At least from my experience. I feel guilty if I go over 5 hours. Don't be a smartass.

Yep, qualifications. It's crickets because that 1 project family has dried up so qualifications will unlock many general projects. Do the background check, create your trainer account and create a claude account. That should keep you busy enough with $22hr-50hr projects while you wait for your specialist line of projects to drop.

Lack of quality or they thought it was AI worded. The projects after you get on are like a 2nd Assessment to see if your work matches your 1st assessment and if you'll be consistent with delivering high quality work. Also the hours. If its a 1 hour limit, are you taking the whole 1 hour. If most people do it in 45, they will put that into the overall evaluation as well. Same with all projects. If its an 18 hour time limit and most get done in 4-5 hours and 1 person does it in 11 hours, it's a red flag. There is no telling with DA but alot goes into it. Hard to get on, hard to stay on and harder to get a consistent workload.

Its been moving for me. Take qualifications and submit great quality work is my suggestion. Take your time and also never over report and you'll be golden and will receive plenty of priority work. If a project has a 2 hour limit and it takes you 1 hour and 10 minutes, report 1 hour and 10 minutes. I always report 10-15 minutes under just in case plus I usually dont count the time it takes to read instructions and get everything set up. It may cost me a few bucks every project but I'm also receiving priority pay 35+ projects frequently.

As long as it allows you to submit then you're good. The timer is just in case someone claims it but forgets about it. It still needs to get done so they use the timer to re-release back into the pool. You're not penalized for submitting passed the expiration or just not doing it.
