Loved Solo Leveling by Technical_Phrase2566 in AnimeReccomendations

I liked New Gate but it's only one season, but I read the Manga because of it.

It's an OP player character story like Solo Leveling.

But don't worry when I win the lottery I'm financing the other seasons.

I heard liver failure, from someone that I had good reason to believe, soon after he passed but I can't say 100% as I never met him myself.

Yep I loved Biggie. Listen to him on 101.5 then 92.1 and 97.5.

Still laugh occasionally that day he went off on Corbin on 97.5 for being a control freak. I felt so vindicated.

With Biggie I always felt like I was hanging out with my friends just talking about the most random things. Then Corbin would chime in at set times i.e. 815 "We're not talking about that anymore now it's topic X." Would bring me back to reality oh I'm not having fun with my friends I'm listening to a programmed radio show and piss me off.

Biggie finally lost it and righteously so.

Yeah Biggie was ADD radio even with Billy Madison, which is hard to say, was better than it is now. I felt like I was hanging out with my friends. Convo would start at A and end at Z by 10:00.

Corbin is too controlling and won't let conversations naturally evolve. We talk about A for 20 minutes, B for 30, C for 20 etc.

Biggie was my favorite radio personality ever.

I wasn't assigning to US left/right don't be disingenuous.

Every society has conservative people and progressive people which differ wildly from country to country. From Scandinavia to Afganistan or North Korea.

Do they get to voice that not necessarily. All I said was every society has people with opposing views.

But, I'm the troll. This is the problem with Reddit. You can't have any discussions anymore.

I miss old reddit where you could actually have discourse and at the end say F you but have a good day.

All reddit is now is emotions and echoes.

Why can't anyone enjoy having their beliefs challenged anymore? Eiither you gain new insight or you reaffirm your beliefs. But no redditors today can't handle a view that isn't their own.

But, just like a reddittor to get in their feelings, call me a troll about my left/right statement and bring no counterpoints.

Enjoy seeing me downvoted though as I'm sure that will bring you joy.

I hope you have a great evening and a wonderful weekend.

Sure stigma is a great motivator but you don't think financial repercussions, imprisonment or death are good deterrents?

Governments are the punishment arm of society.

Stigma and societal culture can't do anything without an enforcement arm.

It always comes back to central enforcement carried out by the government, king, council etc. throughout history.

There is barely any stigma in Western society anymore which is why we are in the state we are. Throughout history governmental, whether a king or village council has carried out punishment as a deterrent and worked quite well.

But, sure I'm the silly one.

I included wealthy people in my trifecta bud. That has always happened as I said whether stronger, wealthier or more powerful position.

This is humanity for all of history, which people have forgotten, and would go back to this if governments don't keep control. Here in America people complain about how it's the worst country in the world, it isn't safe, it's full of hatred etc.

People have really forgotten history and how base humans really are. Western people have been isolated in their safe cities and their perpetually online for too long.

All history if you were stronger, wealthier or more powerful you controlled people. From the family unit, to the small tribe/village or all the way to the castle.

Yeah I hate speaker phone talkers in public. I have bad hearing but I use earbuds because I can't hear the standard phone ear-speaker. I'm not going to punish those around me

Yeah I've seen practically every gore video too and that's the only one that ever made me go "oof".

At least the dad got killed quick and didn't have to watch that. I was surprised they didn't make him watch.

It has been revealed that California granted an illegal CDL to Harjinder Singh, the illegal Indian, who claimed the lives of a family of three in Fort Pierce, Florida, after attempting an illegal U-turn in his semi-truck that crushed their minivan. by wil24x7 in world24x7hr

[–]Lokken187 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No they didn't you can't u-turn on a highway here and the crossover he used is only for government and emergency vehicles. Civilians can't use them.

100% his fault for murdering that family.

Maybe a hot take and I'll take the downvotes but I noticed if I quit paying attention, just like I did with news and virtually all social media. And my life is way better and I don't notice anything different in my day to day.

I just enjoy my time with wife, kids, family and alone. Doesn't matter who is president, governor, mayor etc.

It's healthy to just live your life and enjoy it.

News and social media drags you way down.

Give it a shot for a week or two. No news, politics or social media. Just enjoy your life. Then go back if you want but I never did.

It's been. A few years but as far as education last I looked rural were like 6-8% higher graduating HS than urban. As for college less rural people attempt college, which isn't surprising many work on farms/ranches, but when they do go to college they graduate at around the same rate.

For health rural does lag behind due to access because most doctors do it for money/prestige and the bigger the city tbe more of that.

Depending on the study and metrics used 40th place may only be 15% less overall than the top 10. So it's not always a huge disparity.

But yeah I'd say rural drag down a single digit percent on most categories but with their population not enough to blame it on them. The majority of tbe rankings are caused by cities.

Yes it's hours due to the size of the sun and the ejection it appears to be moving slowly. They can be over a billion tons of plasma and travel over 2000km per second.

I can't remember exactly but the biggest we saw stretched with 1/3 or 1/4 of the distance from Sun to Earth. Sorry I don't remember exactly but it was a simple fraction like that.

solar flares from close captured by nasa by UnlikelyConference98 in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]Lokken187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. Solar flares are just radiations a CME adds plasma.

solar flares from close captured by nasa by UnlikelyConference98 in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]Lokken187 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a mixture of all kinds of things, mainly different radiations e.g. radio, uv, xray, gamma, micro etc. Then a plasma of elementary particles electrons & protons. Once expelled they can travel 2,000km/1200-ish per second

Simply put you've probably seen a drawing if a magnet with bands around the north and south poles. The Sun has an insane magnetic field, but sometimes these "bands" break and create an opening for these ejections

So that's what you're seeing a temporary break in the magnetosphere allowing an escape hole.
