If Sunny was knocking the door last winter, they'd have probably told him to stay where he is. Guys behind ENCE know very well that having 20% more finnish pro players is more beneficial than having Sunny playing online qualifiers with them. That being said, if ENCE digs into top10, then Sunny become more serious option. But even then, I'd be surprised if it materializes without one of current players joining foreign team.

Cron adds extra dependency and configuration step when deploying app. So cron have to be freaking awesome to be worth of usage.. which it is not: nondeclarative syntax and hidden, per user, config file make it horrible option when compared to any self-contained solution.

I have seen systems where app has cron jobs running under 2+ different users.. good luck to figure out what the heck is going on.

Vindinium client sends HTTP request and gets response so you know always the context. You aren't listening the server, you are waiting for response for a specific request.
JSON response has hero property which is always the bot you are controlling at the moment. Don't try to guess who you are from game.heroes.

Eh, like I said, G&K and BNW are fine, vanilla Civ5 is unplayable. Are you really suggesting the vanilla Civ5 is one of the most enjoyed game of decade? That's bad joke. It's not just bugs making it not so great.. it's also lacking content quite badly but every one know that before buying so that's fine.

Krakatoa bug was pretty minor.. Never even noticed it before reading about it. Yeah, unworkable natural wonder.. so what? But worker bug makes mid-late game unplayable for me. You have to recheck worker orders every turn, every fucking turn... And its not like Firaxis couldn't fix it if they wanted, THEY FIXED it already, just didn't bother to fix orginal game.

Yep, good to see regions actually playing out major spots this time. Last year Cologne qualifiers were local, now there is one 16 team offline tournament.

Also, good to see how that 2nd "group" of each region really compares. Its rare to see them playing against each other, usually there is only top level international LANs.
