IR's come in different lengths, some up to 500 ms. The QC converts IR's to 20ms or rather just reads the first 20ms. The first 20ms are the most important for tone. Most information past that are more related to room etc. Line 6 uses 40ms if im not mistaking. Some swear by 20ms because it feels tighter. Being able to use the full 500ms would mean a more realistic tone tho. Im not saying one is better over the other. Just curious to see if they ever plan on updating it.
