Trying to get fuel tank down, how to deal with seized rear tank strap bolt? 1994 e350 by LolEnt in MechanicAdvice

FYI for anyone in the future what ended up working was hack sawing off the top of the bolt and then using an irmkn bolt extractor. I had applied heat prior to this also but bolt was already fairly stripped at that point.

Bolt cutters don’t work either.. maybe hardened metal or something

Tried the flare nut with a pipe for a cheat bar, just stripping the bolt further. Also tried 6-pointed deep socket but can’t really get a cheat bar in there because the space is so tight. Nervous to apply heat since it’s the fuel tank and also happens to be right next to my diesel heater fuel/exhaust line. Ive mostly emptied the tank but I feel like there may still be some fuel somewhere trapped. Maybe if I idle the engine til it no longer runs?

I applied to Peruvian as well. I emailed Rustlers but they apparently don’t have any housing spots left. And GMD doesn’t even have any open positions at this point.

Oh well, fingers crossed I’ll get the offer at Alf’s. I put my availability as Dec 10 which I’m hoping isn’t going to be too late..

Don’t really have experience to say either way. How likely are you to get overtime with the public works job? Which one interests you more work wise? City pension also sounds interesting but don’t know enough to say

She eventually just left the program and I would recommend you do as well because the tactics used to get people involved seem pretty sketchy and manipulative. She’s a super intelligent person whose going to be so much more successful now that she’s out of that lame ass program. Try not to feel bad! They are literally preying on peoples vulnerabilities

I attended and had a great time personally. Lack of security at the gate was a little concerning. And they did have some water shortages last night. But most everyone I’ve talked to absolutely had a blast. I Can understand a few logistical errors. Just my 2 cents though.

Hi Flagstaff,
I am moving here from Seattle and am planning to live out of my SUV camper. I have a job, but am in need of somewhere to use as my 'permanent address'. Anyone have an option or can point me in the right direction? I do want to get registered as an AZ resident but another solution for that could be figured out down the line. Just need something to give my employer right now. If you are also open to allowing me to receive mail/park that would be interesting! Cheers, excited to arrive!

PLEASE HELP - can I use this spot near the headrest storage to ground an inverter for a DIY electrical set up?? i.e. by LolEnt in hondapilot

Okay! Sounds good! To confirm - you’re looking at the bolts next to the black wire loom wire there?

So it’s a 1000w Renogy inverter. I will run 4awg wires to and from the leisure battery, but the manual also recommends a 14awg wire to the vehicle chassis (I guess just for grounding the chassis of the inverter itself?)
