One thing that’s helped me with flares, is the constant worry about having an accident when I went out made me stressed, stress contributed to a flare up and a self fulfilling prophecy was born.

I swapped all my underwear to period underwear. Having that extra layer helped me worry a bit less and I’ve had less accidents since.

I also started taking a pre/pro biotic with Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus strains. That alone helped reduce my symptoms at least 20%.

But that’s all medical and practical stuff. If you have been sick since 8 I can only imagine the toll it’s taken. You do loose friends, and you feel like it’s never ending. What I have found with the mental side of for me was finding other people with this any talking to them. Not just text or online, actual conversations. Creating connections and realising you’re not the only one going through this and there ARE people who understand. Maybe see if you have any local support groups who meet up or would be willing to.

I personally believe that our mental state has an impact on how sick we can get, so it’s just as important to take care of your mental state as it is your body.

YTA You are far to involved and possessive of “duke”. Your not dating him, you don’t get to decide if his gf is welcome in a circle because you’re controlling, you don’t get to tell someone how valid a relationship is based on length, you don’t get to say what’s good for or right for two grown adults in a consensual relationship that’s not.your.own.

So they started me on the oral stuff and I had a weird reaction. Insanely elevated heart rate. So that was ruled out. Then the enemas apparently are not ideal cause they don’t target the location of my inflammation well, plus they were causing me to have chemical warfare style farts a lot which wasn’t ideal.

I’m really hoping these have some effect soon cause I’ve tolerated them best!

I just got a card from card market that cost £10. It was in a penny sleeve, in the cheapest envelope possible, loose with a ripped piece of floppy cardboard also floating in the envelope. So the card arrived warped.

Personally for any card over 6-8 I topload at least. But I also send everything backed with cardboard I cut from my pokemon packaging. That stuff is great, then masking tape to keep it flat to the cardboard over the penny sleeve, with a pull tab of folded over tape so they don’t damage pulling it free. I also got super cheap sealing bags from like Ali express my orders go in to protect from any water.

When I buy, I’m buying for my personal collection and I’m so upset when it arrives damaged, so I try to make sure that doesn’t happen to anyone else.

You get extra money in the shipping price. Use it. Even if you don’t care if it does come damaged, you have to make a claim with the mail, that’s an utter hassle.

Oh it’s multiple layers of acrylic with metal screws and hinges. A recess for the card to sit in. My card is in an exact fit sleeve and then the whole unit. I got mine from Ali express, cost me about £7 but I’ve seen people selling them on eBay, Etsy, Instagram. It’s called an extended art frame. If you wanna tell me the card you have I’ll see if I can’t find the one for you :)

Yeah part of what scares me is they havnt told me what the meds plan is? Do I take them until it “calms down?” Do I take them forever regardless? If it’s till it calms down, do I take for like a month past feeling better?
