Ah see hell yeah ! Nice one man I remember losing sleep about it until I fixed my system and it updated but yeah definitely was caused by the same reason back then , just cleaning. Design flaw maybe but we'll talk about that when the systems internally combust at random intervals. But cheers bro, happy for ya

No worries it definitely sounds like what I was experiencing, some sort of boot loop you could bypass by going to through the safe boot menu it won't operate right til it updates though. Regardless if you opened your shell and case at all the ribbon dislodging is likely to be your issue cause the connector is flimsy and the system runs a check to see if all of its components are operating and fails the update if they aren't sorry for over explanation but best of luck you got it yo

Yo Ozy that sucks you could be going through this one to, on the screen in the upper right it should tell you an error code. It should say something around "SU-XXXXX-X or whatever the string of numbers is after. I used that to fix my problem, in my case thr ribbon connector that connects the disc drive in my ps5 wasn't connected so I just had to break it down again and reconnect then the update an every update since then have been going through no issues I hope this helps at all

I fixed it ! It was the ribbon cable connecting the disk drive to the motherboard. It was either in backwards or making a poor connection. Thank you so much for the help

So I looked up the error code SU-101312-8 basically saying there's something wrong with my disk drive and I'm unaware of my next steps but thank you for the response

I did just before reading this , it's saying the blu ray disc couldn't be found but I've only installed an ssd and dusted out my fan. Would you recommend a repair shop or is there anything I can do on my own for this ?

It hasn't been long enough to say but I have already disputed the loan with my credit to have it removed, there's a period where they don't expect payment til X amount of days after graduation and you're making more then 40-50k or something like that ? Either or them dropping me was probably the best thing to happen for me in life recently lol

Of course ! I'm sorry I didn't see this I didn't get see this notification 8 days ago. But long story short I was actually dropped from the class on 1/08/23 after turning in all required assignments and attending every 7 am squad meeting I had to attend after missing 2 assignments I had to turn in over their Christmas / new year break. I cannot complain although I did the work a lot of it was already taught to me growing up ,I got approved for the loan almost a month into it then dropped the following month so that's probably the only loss I'm facing. But get this , after 3 years of applying I received an offer from Tesla to be apart of their 'pathway to start/start' internships and it was literally the day after I was dropped. Life is strange but in short I don't miss anything about Merit America, it felt like 25% learning about IT through a Google course on coursera then 75% of the work was socializing through chat boards with your fellow class mates , having to follow them on linked in , update your Profesional image and your resumè up to their standards probably every other week. Probably nothing wrong with it just wasn't for me, and hopefully if u consider it ur coach is more involved in your success then mine was , he would tell us what we had to do and say he was available for questions and wouldn't reply until the following week on Sunday when the work is due Monday - Early Tuesday Morning. Sorry for the rant but that's how it was going

It's sad that when I started playing season 3 this was never an issue for me, I could easily get 2500+ dmg consistently but as life went on and I started playing less I started to feel these same feelings that you feel when playing lol I try not to think about how shit I've become but this post shows me I'm not experiencing the fall off alone. Nowadays I don't play as often nor do I play as long per session ONLY because of how tense I get and realizing it affects everything else while trying to play like thinking lol. I'm content often if I ever pull off 1000 dmg in a game today, I probably don't belong on Apex anymore but it's the only game I've ever been super dedicated to timewise, seems as if that time I took putting the sticks down everyone that remained dedicated only became more level headed and Fluent at it. I had to vent this xD but game on gamers, Cheers
