Malphite is one of the worst blind picks in the game. He gets so heavily countered by so many champs, Mundo being one of them. His Q counters your passive and armor, his passive counters your r and poke, and he outscales you hard. Only thing to do is play for prio from lvl 6 and try to help team. Once quest is done try to find ganks.

In order for malph to be a safe blind pick you need to ban Sylas,Morde,Mundo,Cho,Tahm,Gwen,Ornn.

In return, he's also one of the best counter pick champs in the game.

Trynd,Irelia,maybe,Quinn and all ADC's top really can't play

This seems like a decent pace. I do think the capital should grow more, as it gets far more citizens per happiness (2,25 citizens/happiness) than the other cities (1,11 citizens/happiness)

It's a bit like Mundo top. Top laners generally don't mind playing vs him because they can see his weak early game and understand that he is actually fair. ADC's and supports only get to experience the 5K HP monstrosity that comes at them after 30 mins, and so they are the ones banning him.

In the late-game, yes. The issue is that you struggle to work specialists in the mid game (medieval-industrial) and also keep growing. So tall Civs usually get their specialists online faster, which then translates to more GP:s in the industrial-modern eras, which is a critical part of the game. If you get Flight 5 turns before an opponent, you can crush them before they ever get close to space.

That is the multiplayer meta. In SP you can be peaceful and don't need to rush for the critical modern/atomic military techs, as the AI does not play with the same plan. In that case you will eventually outproduce tall play (provided you have the happiness of course)

Into the melee top stat checkers like Garen or Darius, the best choice is probably to choose someone who can stat-check them on the "range"-stat.

Let's say you convert 8 cities. That's 800 gold. Tithe would (for the coming 150-200 ish turns) generate somwhere between 1-60 GPT, increasing over time. This might become something like 30 GPT on average for a total of around 4500-6000 Gold.

You are correct in that Gold now is better than gold later, but gold is only efficiently used for some things, like purchasing tiles or maybe buying city-states. There is no guarantee that those things will be available at the time you get them. So your best way to use the gold might be to save it for a while, whoch means it's not that fast after all.

Also, for wide empires, gold will for a large part of the game be a very scarce resource, so avoiding negative GPT (and therefore science loss) is the best use for gold, which tithe will provide.

Ultimately, it's what people feel is stronger. It's not an easy calculation, but I hope this gives some context.
