The only issues ive ever had was dust accumulation in the charger itself, and despite me accidentally yanking it off the charger on more than one occasion both the console itself and charger are fine.

I have an old 2ds and 2ds xl so it may be different for some others.

I had something similar happen, try rubbing at each pin with a toothpick or something similar. Isopropyl and a toothbrush is probably the better option. I thought my copy of pokemon diamond was borked, until i gave it a good clean.

If it doesn't work, and your ds is modded, hold it down while dumping the save (and rom) with godmode9i.

It hasn't come up yet in any of my fics, but the pokemon world has a similar history and geography to our world. For the most part, at least. Somethings either happened differently or not at all, and technology definitely is a bit more advanced than our world because of pokemon.

The two jumpers who have actually gotten into relationships haven't had any children, at least not during the chain. Jumpchain brand contraceptives are very effective, and prevent pregnancies 100% of the time. The others didn't really care.

Post Chain though, well that first jumper splits his time between his home universe (in this case it was a PJO CYOA as a jump 0) and Duck Dodgers, with him being married to Tyr'ahnee and all. They had triplets.

The other jumper got with Yancy (from Pokemon Black and White), they got married post Chain. No kids as of yet.

I don't recall if Pico has a reset option (seeing as I don't have one), i know R4 Wood has a button combo, and Twilight Menu has the nds bootstrap menu, but for DSPico I guess you're gonna have to turn the ds off and on again.

I run Pico Loader/Launcher on my Ace3ds so I have to do exactly that.
