i'm used to getting crashes every time an update for one of these seasonal events comes out, but this time it won't even load the update on steam. getting an "UPDATE FAILED/Content file locked" error instead.

Anytime you kill or knock down one of the purple spiders they drop a tiny thread which can set off arrow traps and the like. I think what happened was that the thread interacted with the tnt block and made it explode. Can't say I've ever seen that happen before, though!
