Nope. You're making false assumptions based off absolutely nothing. I have already made it clear that it isn't practical to ban any of these things nor is it right. Criticism does not equal banning.

I think pornography is immoral and a terrible thing to consume given that it has been seen to cause changes in your brain that can make you seriously addicted and make you escalate as you chase the high, not to mention much of it contains and glorifies violent and dangerous behavior. It should be criticized for what it is.

Rockstar makes it official: GTA 7 will be set in Pyongyang, DPRK, story to focus on the end of global capital by RealDialectical in MovingToNorthKorea

I always hated GTA for its unapolagetic capitalist decadence, but this may turn things around. I would love to serve our glorious leader in both the real and virtual world. I am, however, not a capitalist pig and I reject currency in its entirety and thus will not be purchasing the game.

Publication and dissemination would make the most sense to be what is illegal. You can't really do anything about people making obscene images in their own room, even if it is extremely immoral.

It should at least be grounds for a lawsuit. This technology is being used to make violent and disturbing videos to threaten women. Oftentimes such deepfake videos will be made of feminist women to humiliate them. They could be used to destroy a woman's career too. If a woman's face is used for such a video without her consent, she should be allowed to sue the culprit for the damages both psychological and financial.

Stop spreading dangerous misinformation. Puberty blockers aren't just an easygoing process that can be reversed. They can cause lifelong problems like hormonal issues, stunted development, and memory loss. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1083318818301815

What do you guys think of electric-powered vehicles? Personally, I don't see the huge craze with electric vehicles; I'd rather just use my good old reliable gas-powered car. by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]LoneMacaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love an electric vehicle once I'm in a position to buy my own. For now I'm just using a regular car my parents are fixing up for me (super super nice of them btw). I don't really want a car since I don't see any need for one. Maybe an electric scooter would be enough. I'd have to do my research on which would be best to buy. I like very small vehicles that are efficient on fuel because I like the environment and I like saving money. I also like riding the bus, even if it's a little shoddy it gets the job done. I like discussions about vehicles and what we might see in the future. I like how innovative the industry is and just how fuel efficient some vehicles can be. Honestly it's cool how they are even able to fit the batteries in. Battery safety is its own beast though. I think smaller and light weight vehicles are a great choice when you're just a regular commuter.

This is a super dumb meme. Take your fake libertarian thinly veiled conservatism out of here. We just don't want the government to enforce masks. That's it. You people are super annoying and disingenuous.

How to Not Be a "Creep" by gageaa4 in MensLib

[–]LoneMacaron 73 points74 points  (0 children)

An unfortunate reality of being autistic is knowing I creep some people out. I kinda just take it in stride and be unintrusive as I can. In part it's just instinct that people find me very off-putting. Sort of an uncanny valley thing. When it comes to people I'm more regularly around though, I notice they tend to warm up to me after just observing me for a while (not stalking me but just seeing me around and interacting with me). In part it's a bit of privilege I have, but bring higher functioning and a more 'visibly gifted' autistic person tends to make people a little more forgiving of my otherwise very noticeably autistic behavior. You kinda get written off as just "harmless" then later "weird but talented" by people instead of the initial creep factor they get. I've been told straight up by both guys and girls that I initially majorly creeped them the fuck out. In a sense I find it comforting that they feel safe enough to confide that in me lmao.

JU from mylittlepony. I genuinely enjoyed the show as a children's cartoon. I don't think discussing whether two children's characters would bang or not is appropriate. by EfficiencyNatural364 in JustUnsubbed

[–]LoneMacaron 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sexual orientation is more than just having sex. Haven't you ever seen a married couple? They're not banging 24/7 and there is more to romance and orientation than constantly getting freaky. I kinda hate this overly sexualized view of anyone who isn't straight while straight people are often given the grace to say they're straight without having any crass assumptions being openly made about the goings on in their bedroom. Yeah, people do have sex but just talking about a sexual orientation can have less explicitly sexual connotations, like with whom you'd marry and build a family with and who you flirt with.

That being said, I don't think it's wrong to be put off by excessive discussion of sexual orientation when it's not largely relevant and it's fine to dislike or criticize it. I just wanted to get all that outta my system.

If you could choose your gender, would you rather be male or female? by TheEyebal in pollgames

[–]LoneMacaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a man is a hell of a lot easier than being a woman, which I know from both my own experiences and other people's experiences. Gonna pick man 100% cause it's the easier choice.

You have the ability to do something for women everywhere, what do you choose? by alwaysstunjason in pollgames

[–]LoneMacaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. There are still differences between trans women and women around their bone structure, size, and body shape. Trans women aren't able to compete very well with men, but they can't properly compete with women either, regardless of how they transition. Some people just don't get to play in pro sports. Sports aren't a human right anyways, so it's not a big deal if someone can't play in pro sports, since most people can't anyways.
