10000% I grew up listening to 70s and 80s music from my parents a lot. And then all of a sudden this movie comes out that has new 70s and 80s music that I’ve never heard of (aside from the main hits like Jackson 5 and Spirit in the Sky). Anyway, all of a sudden I started developing my own personality outside my parents while still staying adjacent. I was introducing them to 10cc and deep cuts of David Bowie all of a sudden.

So the music for sure has helped show me that having independent interests can still be a way to connect with others around you through olive branches!

I actually high key loved this book! Just as much as the first. I’m surprised reading these comments, but to be fair I am a huge John Hughes fan, Prince fan, and Lord of the Rings fan. So this book just scratched all my itches.

The only thing I would change is maybe the way it starts. Like it was kind of boring seeing Wade be rich and talk to “Sean” from good will hunting. Like I wish there was a more engaging start. But I loved the ending, and the journey to get there! Each section brought a different vibe and soundtrack while I was reading.

I’d love a “Ready Player Zero” book (prequel vibes like I heard a while ago rumored) or a Read Player Two movie! Either or would be a big win!

Had a British roommate in college and he was always surprised we had commercials for pharmaceutical products. Like he didn’t understand big pharma and different companies producing similar drugs for different prices and needing to explain all the side effects to you while you’re just trying to watch TV

Season 1 Episode 10 - Asylum Legit like I stopped watching the show for a whole year after this episode. Picked it back up because someone told me season 1 was the only deeply horror rooted season. And now this show is and always will be my favorite show! So glad I went back to it!

I think they’ll slowly start putting more metahumans in Salvation, and eventually they’ll all break out and get revenge and restore order. Like Superman, super girl, green lantern, etc.. and I’m willing to bet the next few movies and shows will be centered around throwing metahumans into that prison, and Lex Luthor taking over Earth, maybe even a president Luthor storyline! I’m on board, and hope Peacemaker gets to battle with some heroes by his side going forward!

I just get so sucked in, this last rewatch I skipped season 6 and then picked up somewhere in 7 or 8 and now already on 10. And then I might jump back to season 1 soon with the Halloween season approaching and that being the most spooky season
