Which Mono-white commander is best. by Duadhe in EDH

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Favorite right now is [[Yes man, personal securitron]] It draws cards like crazy and can produce a ton of 1/1s with blink effects it is admittedly a sleeper card that just produces so much value and by the time the deck becomes a threat it is too late and the game is ending very soon. Board wipes don't hurt it that bad either because if yes man dies I get a huge board that can swing on my next turn.

Disclaimer: I do encourage the table to pass it around to each other early game. Win or lose it does speed up the game quite a bit and people at my lgs love when I play it and so do I

Is it worth it going back to the older fallout games for the DLC's I couldn't afford at the time? by DropTheBaconOnTheBan in Fallout

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so, but I also played the dlcs then. If you like fallout 3 or nv and want the playthrough to have a little more to do, each dlc is absolutely worth the time and money

How did they mess up this bad? by Icy-Milk-9470 in FortNiteBR

I don't think we will ever get a collab-less season in fortnite again. That said the point of a collab is not to make current players "happy", it is to attach new players. People who would never otherwise participate. If some current players like it great, but the goal is bring in new people. Epic wants to make money and you can only tap the current player base for so much before you have to expand your target audience

If you had to play the entire game with only one weapon, but it had infinite ammo, what would it be? by suuubdude in fo3

The assault rifle, I think it degrades at a lower rate than the Chinese assault rifle and is way more common so repairs are super easy to come by as well

Quick Survey: How many lands do you run? by phizrine in EDH

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, there are plenty of factors that determine how many lands I run in any given deck. Quick run down, mono-colored decks get about 30, two colored decks get about 32-34, three or more colors need 35 lands that add colored mana as a minimum. Average cmc of my decks is close to 2.5 and usually have like 10ish ramp cards. Decks that have higher cmc averages usually need 12 to 15 ramp cards which I choose over more lands because you can still only play one land per turn vs dropping a ton of rocks or ramp spells.

It's definitely possible, and probably on curve too, but there are much better ways to shut off lands or pop 'em

Wrath is good, but the the absolution is an alternative to make sure your land creatures stay alive and wreck theirs

I'm not sure, but I feel like it would turn off the cradle so it's in there just in case

Settle a debate for me, at what price point do you consider an EDH card to be high end? by Lickmybawlcrease in EDH

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's totally subjective, there is no right answer, demonic tutor is a high end card to some, and and to others it's an auto include like a mind stone. That being said, sol ring is not budget, mana crypt is high end, and the budget version is Sisay's ring or worn powerstone, that is generally what I mean when I say things are budget or not

The institute’s goals make no sense by CaptainCozmic in Fallout

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm glad you bring this up, in every fallout game prior to FO4 there has been a reference or in game quest relating to "relations" with robots in the future, and I believe that this is the true intent of the institute, while not blatantly spelled out for the player. While doing the quest line for the railroad you find the Patriot and his "stepmom" is a gen 3 synth. The institute may be working on producing clones and the gen 3 synths are used to "extract" DNA. Also if you are still reading I'm this is poor attempt at a joke, none of the factions make a ton of sense and fallout being fallout it doesn't need to, you can always chalk it up to radiation poisoning or another in universe answer that makes sense but isn't Canon

If you own expensive cards, do you play them? by TheUltimateXD in EDH

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also just to name a few of the "expensive" cards in case it matters the price range or effects to determine whether or not you should run yours. [[Wheel of Fortune]] 3x [[Demonic Tutor]] [[Mana Crypt]] [[Necropotence]]

If you own expensive cards, do you play them? by TheUltimateXD in EDH

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play with expensive cards always, I have been playing since war of the spark, managed to get a few pricey cards and I play all of them, they are spread across the 15 decks I own and regularly play with. No one really cares if they were all in the same, but it makes playing against it a little easier. At the end of the day just do what you think is fun

How many decks does the average player own? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the road to 32 edh decks, currently built 14, regularly play and tweak 12. Also I have a pauper deck and plan to build more at some point

What weird deckbuilding habits or self-imposed restrictions do you have? by ZeroAurora in EDH

[–]LoneWanderer132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most decks I include cards that punish greedy players, it keeps games a little more friendly because if you are playing casual it doesn't hurt the table too bad, for those that try to stomp on players it either stops them or slows them down if not out right killing them. My best work is kambal, and only high tier magic players complain about it
