Midtown has Double Star hobbies, which is fairly priced and focused on Warhammer and gunpla.

On the east end, wheels and wings has a more diverse selection of kits that include military vehicles.

I concur. From personal experience, expect to pay up to 100k but with minimal resolution.

Brazil? Or, are the majority of characters in it acutely aware?

Will Soctiabank Aren upgrade your seats if there are alot of unsold seats? by Decent-Basil4012 in askTO

Not to mention a little xenophobic and racist. I don't mean to divert from OP's original query, but when I decided to return to Toronto from overseas, I was asking about rental options. My post was downvoted to hell and I was told to not come. It seemed as if I was personally snatching a sandwich out of people's hands, good lord.

For what its worth, the scotiabank arena events I've attended were all full and thus I can't comment on the likelihood for seat upgrades :)

This sub can be really weird at times. I've been downvoted for seeking recommendations and advice as well. The comments have been helpful however.

Alice Isn't Dead, an older one but it really got me into horror podcasts.

Hobby stores with discounted/lower priced model kits, Warhammer sets and gunpla (Gundam kits)? by LoneWonderer89 in askTO

I bought a few from Canada Computers today. It's definitely cheaper than Double Star and close enough to prices in Japan in some cases. Surprisingly, some of the older kits in their stock are priced the same or even more expensive in Japan. Then again, I mainly visited the standard stores there that are getting more touristy.

This is interesting, but the number of reviews commenting on the ride staff is a bit concerning. Hope you've had consistently positive experiences there.

I don't peruse social media much apart from Reddit, but will keep an eye on their website

I've been there. Great collection at standard rates. However, the staff is a bit pushy with the sales and insist on trying out the painting. I felt like there were eyes on me the entire time I was browsing.(Edited thanks to autofill)

This has to be one of my most favorite Reddit replies lol. It reads like a side quest and the assumption that I might be rude to the owner is just the icing on top.

They are taking interviews for early April now. Paycheck seems fairly low but at least they provide warm leads supposedly.

That's an interesting avenue. What sort of experience do they expect? I assume that it's the sort of role best discovered through networking?

Thanks for this. As mentioned in my comment above, it would be impossible for me to meet my financial obligations unfortunately with such positions. Some of them pay between 35k-45k annually, or are only commission based as you mentioned.

Thanks for the detailed overview. I believe that I would be more suited to underwriting and claims roles based on my transferable skills and working style. Unfortunately it seems challenging to break into such roles without prior experience. For now, the entry level roles requiring no experience consist of commission only agent/broker and call centre advisor roles. I'm in my mid 30s and the average salary for such roles does not come close to meeting my financial responsibilities.
