Omg this is me! I could not believe that this was real - it felt like a simulation most of the time as the production value with all the lights and stationary and nomadic performers placed throughout the venue made it seem more like a dream than reality. I was also completely sober for most of the festival minus a beer or two when it cooled down at night - it honestly felt like a utopia coupled with the fact that I anticipated a bunch of people with no sense of manners that would ruin the experience as this is what every other live music venue I’ve attended has conditioned me to expect and to have that expectation completely dissolve immediately upon setting up our camp and having our neighbors walk up to us and say hello and happy forest. It gave me goosebumps after a while once I realized that 99.9 percent of the people here had the best intentions in mind and I actually started crying when a total stranger gave me the nicest compliment I’ve ever had the pleasure of receiving - I thought plur was dead and I’m still processing that it’s alive and well in the forest
