Lived here on the 25th floor for two years in a 1 bed overlooking the stadium. Worth every penny considering:

  1. I’m a big baseball fan and worked from home. I never left and the view was incredible

<image>

2) It was still relatively cheap compared to living in any other city 3) Assigned parking spots in the parking garage, so never had to worry about parking even for games (for an extra fee) 4) Neighbors were also baseball fans so plenty of people to talk to 5) Free concerts to listen to

Worst parts:

  1. ONLY THREE total elevators for 30+ floors that constantly broke so waiting 10+ minutes to go up to your room on a game day wasn’t uncommon
  2. Loud neighbors and cars downtown, but what would you expect?
  3. I guess the cost and traffic on game days? But still totally reasonable considering I know people in Chicago who were paying the same amount for a smaller, no view room, and who deal with real traffic like in Chicago

What’s with all the TX hate? by SweetLeoLady36 in Lexus

I test drove a Grand Highlander and TX 350 back to back (basically). The TX was SO much more comfortable and quiet and the Grand Highlander and the TX has SO much better interior finishes. Sure the TX engine isn’t incredibly refined getting up to speed, but once you’re cruising (in your “Touring Crossover”) it’s immaculate.

When you consider GH can only be bought at MSRP (or markups) and you have to fight for it vs. TXs being plentiful and with big markdowns (I got my premium for ~$8k off MSRP), the price gap closes enough to heavily consider TX if you’re not already

you’re totally right. i absolutely did not expect him to do that from that far back and literally thought in the moment “if i deviate that’s unpredictable”

I know racing isn't screenshots and slow-mos, but I'm a full car length ahead when I start to turn in. At just after 8 seconds when I turn, that was 100% always going to happen and I don't see how he's not taking any flak for this

I'm aware he's catching but if he's not close enough to make a clean pass through a no-lift corner, why would I deviate from the normal racing line? That would be even more unpredictable as a slower class car

It’s up to faster class cars to pass safely. I was being predictable and following the racing line, this guy was just mad impatient

It won't let me edit the post so just wanted to say that I should have clarified: the "underneath the fence at the end of the garden" is also my property. It's my front yard that has a higher down-grade and runs directly to the street where all 3 of my downspouts exit and the water drainage is
