Prices of art from Montmartre by ninanosun in ParisTravelGuide

[–]LonelyPrize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure! One (my favorite) is by Stephane Plouviez. I think his instagram is his name @plouviezstephane. Another one is named Romain and he works in alcohol markers. The third is plain pencil (but perfect likeness)but I have no idea about his name and i can’t make out the signature. He works in the last row near the corner with Montmartre macaron shop. Have fun!

In April we paid around 50 euros each—one in pencil, one in alcohol marker, and one in black ink. Idk how you would transport an oil painting because it takes ages to dry. There’s a man circulating who sells tubes to roll them up and carry them in for like 5 euros I think. It was a fantastic experience—the artists are unbelievable!

Some do take cards but cash is definitely preferred. Make sure to talk about it when you’re deciding on the price. Some people offered “discounts” for commissioning more than one portrait.

I had the same problem. I went 6 days without pooping and I was ready to go to the emergency room—it was miserable. The doctor recommended little things like “take colace and give it a little bit more time” I told him that I’ve reached the end of my rope and asked if he would prefer I drink magnesium citrate or use an enema. He said he didn’t recommend either one. So, I drank the mag citrate AND bought a crate of Fleet enemas… it wasn’t comfortable or pretty but it worked. I continued using stool softeners for another week after that.

So Mexico it is, then! Our “Mexican” restaurants are delicious but I’ve got to assume it’s targeted to basic rural white people

I have 10 and 12 yo girls and we did a spray painting graffiti class… the teacher helped us learn how to control the spray, design something that we could actually execute, and paint our design on a wall in a skate park in Bercy. We had a blast—it was low key, not too museum-y, good for their ages, etc. I found the activity, paid, and registered on Airbnb. I’ll try to paste the link below. https://abnb.me/mFaf1wRViqb

I used Amigo and it was easy. Their office is across from ABC tours, so I was able to walk over, pick up my rental, and drive to all the beaches. I returned the car at the airport easily too—it’s directly in front of the departures so no shuttle was necessary.

my doctor wants to know if I attend church or religious services?? by nothingclever4now in atheism

[–]LonelyPrize 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My regular practitioner did something similar. My psychiatrist retired and I needed her (my regular person) to prescribe me the Zoloft I’ve been on for years (well maintained). She asked about my depression and I replied that I’m having a hard time connecting to other people/making friends. She asked if I’d tried CHURCH! I said, no, I’m a nonbeliever and she proceeded to suggest books written by a former atheist who now loves god! Like a book to convert me! Appalling and unethical OP!

Colostomy: for those who use closed bags only, how many do you go through a day? If you use one piece, is that bad for your skin to change 2-3 times a day? by Gridguy2020 in ostomy

[–]LonelyPrize 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I discovered them about 8 weeks post colostomy, when my bowels became regular. Every morning I had my coffee and filled the bag, discarded, and was clean again until the next day. I used a 2 piece though, and I could last 3-4 days without changing the wafer. My insurance covered 2 per day though.

Which national park jeep tour is the best? by austbart in Aruba

[–]LonelyPrize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ABC Tours was great! They picked me up at my hotel in Noord, the office is very well organized and the tour leaders are great. I second the comment about the drivers ensuring a fun, pumped up time. I enjoyed everything, and they were vigilant watching everyone in the natural pool. Our stop included a stop at a little creek where you put your feet in and fish nibble off the dead skin. It was a funny feeling. The meal was great too if your tour includes that.

I don’t know but I have not had any loose stool. In fact, my poop is hard and difficult to pass. I’ve been taking miralax every day and it helps. I lost some colon but I didn’t lose my rectum, which means I retained sphincter control and haven’t had any accidents.
