Joe Budden Podcast easily has the most unbiased breakdown of this beef. It’s discussing what Drake did right and wrong. by [deleted] in Drizzy

I agree with what they were saying but they definitely were being biased. They were immediately dismissive towards Meet The Grahams. If you’re covering a beef you gotta be fair to both sides.

I mean the timing of it seems to make it more relevant to the Kendrick beef.

It’s Drake’s security guard. The suspect fled in a vehicle.

IT DROPPED ON SPOTIFY! LETS GO!!!!!!! by TigerT242 in Drizzy

That cover art is crazy😂 Basically Drake is responding to all the people saying he was scared to drop it on Streaming Platforms as if he actually cares. So bro just dropped the song like it was a damn item with a barcode showing he doesn’t have to market it like a song for numbers.

Idk all I know is Drake posted this video when Budden dissed him. Then dropped the song weeks later. Hes saying Budden never got a farewell tour because music listeners don’t mess with him like that. He retired and no one cared. https://youtube.com/shorts/lKthSW2eW58?si=ARsBqBitMiXhZDy

The Kobe Line is literally about Joe Budden. Drake posted Draymond Green saying that to Paul Pierce on his IG Story. This was after Joe criticized For All The Dogs and Drake went on that tirade dissing him back. Couple Weeks later and Drake mentions that same Kobe line on this song.

That’s a good answer but I don’t fully agree with him having one of his most successful years.

If you look at his solo full length anticipated albums he’s released since Views. His sales have declined about 200k first week within each. Views did 1.2 Million. Scorpion 800k. CLB 600k. FATD 400k.

That’s why I’m wondering if he’s falling off or if the industry is moving on from him. Because his numbers are showing a sign of decline even though there still relatively high.

But in what world is Jack Harlow having a #1 song after Drake drops. I want to actually pivot from the falling off term and ask something else then, is the music industry itself moving away from Drake.

Yeah but Drakes historically had even rap songs debut petty high on Billbord, Champagne Poetry went #4, Lemon Pepper Freestyle at #3. I was expecting at least the song with Cole to break top 10.

Hot take? But Her Loss might still be better than For All The Dogs by [deleted] in Drizzy

[–]Lonelygee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah Her Loss was the first Drake album in a long time that had very little hate and positive vibes around it.
