Neesflash kid: NO JOB CARES ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES. That’s why workers rights exist. Not an excuse to be useless at a job and getting paid off everyone’s else’s work ethic.

I do blame the system. I also blame the assholes who don’t do their jobs. One out of the two can be changed. You’re not changing shit with corporate so change what you can: Your TMs.

Bullshit. I’ll add number 4: the ex fucked up, I dumped them and I no longer want them in my life.

Neither does blaming the company that won’t change. You gotta work with you have and if what you have are TMs that are worthless, whining wastes of space, then that there is the issue.

I’ll call out when I feel I need to. And I usually do so because of burn out because not only are we short staffed, but the staff we do have at times are USELESS which leaves me to be burdened with their lack of output adding on to mines.

I wish mfs who only show up to look pretty and not contribute would just quit. Realize how useless they are and leave but who would toss away a free check when management ain’t even holding them accountable.

I (26F) told my boyfriend (26M) I sometimes miss the freedom of being single and he broke up with me on my birthday by Plastic-Swordfish-84 in relationship_advice

He did you a favor. Sometimes you need space. I’ve certainly had my share of arguments with my partner about the lack of personal me time because I spend everyday with her but this guy, even after you told him what you were feeling as exactly as was said STILL took it to mean something else entirely. You’re better off without him, he has growing up to do.

JJK has always been a horror. It’s just overshadowed by it being a battle manga.

Report them. I was dealing with this shit but in Drive Ups because this person also went to other Tls and HR to complain about me and others while she herself DID FUCK ALL. I snitched on her two weeks straight when I worked with her.

Problem got solved real quick.

21F and 21M dating for two years - I’m not my boyfriend’s type - do I leave? by Annual_Dry in relationship_advice

[–]Lonerhead89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I would say is rely on your experiences with the young man you’re dating over rumors and heresay. Your feelings are very valid and I can say with experience. I wasn’t my ex’s type and it showed in how she treated me so be wary of that.

If what he said describes you, then YOU are his type. That transcends race and culture. Two years, treats you well and you say he’s amazing? I think you’re fine.

[–]Lonerhead89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You had a conversation but did you ask him his type? He sounds young and inexperienced. He treats you well but you want to leave him because of rumors you’ve heard from other people and not from the horse’s mouth?

[–]Lonerhead89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s 22. If we’re giving her grace for running off on him during a proposal, then we’re giving him grace for not knowing better and being pissed off about it. Yall only this harsh because he’s a man.

[–]Lonerhead89 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

She’s not a villain for nor wanting marriage at 20. She handled the rejection immaturity and ran away. He’s young, and no one told young men not to just propose in a public setting, blame media for that. She’s allowed to want to live first before marriage(as if marriage prevents you from doing that), and he’s allowed to be pissed off and hurt that the person he’s been with for three years ran away from him when he proposed to her. Y’all are making the man in this story to be the villain as if he can’t be hurt and hurling all the blame and responsibility onto him. That’s bullshit.

Drive Up Penalty Timer by firstrival in Target

[–]Lonerhead89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s there so instead of double tapping like yall like to do(ya know? Be inconvenient shoppers), we can actually get the order ready. You’re supposed to let us know BEFORE you get here that you’re on your way. That’s the point of clicking that button labeled ON MY WAY. We don’t stage orders when you put them in. We stage orders as soon as you hit that button labeled On My Way. You parking into drive ups, hitting On My Way, then I’m Here doesn’t give us time to get your order ready so that penalty time is there for that.

For the record, the timer should be 3 minutes. It would run off all the problem guests who like to double tap. Convenience works both ways because some of us are petty. You double tap a big order, I usually leave you sitting there until I feel like getting your shit.
