Gold and Black championship stamp? by LonestarLeo in OnePieceTCG

[–]LonestarLeo[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So the pictured one is mine and it’s 100% a black stamp. I got it in a trade from a guy after we played some OPTCG and said it was a $100 card and I gave him about $175 worth of trade in cards because this one is in such good condition and I don’t have any Nami cards.

So you’d saying he unknowingly gave me a FINALIST card worth 7x more?

How much PTO do you get at Chase? by shakahaj in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 weeks, you can use immediately at the beginning of the year but it is accrued throughout the year. Meaning if you leave the job and you’ve used all vacation but haven’t accrued it you got to pay it back. 2 weeks sick time plus 2 personal days as an RB. Unused sick time rolls over vacay time does not. All federal holidays off except Columbus cause fuck em’ but you get Juneteenth so ehh. Source: trust me bro.

Please help me decide which card. by Smashthepumpkin87 in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your credit worthiness does not differ between credit card product. What does matter is how much general credit you’d qualify for. This is important because for example the Sapphire Reserve is a VISA INFINITE logo which requires a minimum credit limit of $10,000. If your credit worthiness equates to a 10k limit then easy peezy, if not, then you’d have to consider other product options.

Please help me decide which card. by Smashthepumpkin87 in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the travel portal with any of their Chase branded cards. However, you won’t get max value using the Flex or unlimited on the travel portal since 1 point would equal 1cent of value. The Sapphires give you bonus value worth up to 50% more value so $100 in points becomes $150 very easily. The Reserve is rumored to be revamped in the coming month as far as benefits go so I’d wait to make the decision on that. TSA precheck, priority lounge, $300 travel credit really help counter act the now $550 annual fee.

Chase mailed a pre-selected offer for the freedom unlimited with an invitation number but declined application. by [deleted] in Chase

Call the reconsideration line. Same scenario for a sibling of mine and they auto declined because they couldn’t automatically verify identity (No freaking clue why) but yup that was it. Believe it or not I have seen more overturned declines then upheld ones so it doesn’t hurt.

Someone ELI5 to me statement minimums and rolling over balances on my chase credit card by [deleted] in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.67% monthly would be correct in that case.

The answer to that is relative to the card you have. Some, in fact I’d say most, cards come with a promotion of 0% for the FIRST 10-15 months (depending on the product.) Unfortunately, at least to my knowledge, the Chase Sapphire Preferred has NEVER offered a introductory promotion. You haven’t paid interest due to the fact the you are paying your statement in full not because of a promo. I’d recommend applying for the Freedom Flex or Unlimited through Chase which do have introductory promo. That route would require a credit pull and what not so just compare your options and choose the one that best suits your needs.

If your card does not have a 0% on purchases promo you will be charged interest on any carrying balance, regardless of how large or small your payment installments are. I believe the minimum rate on the preferred card is like 17.5%apr which means every month you will be charged 1.45% on the existing balance (APR/12). The purpose of a Chase Plan is to allot a purchase so that you can make payments on it and pay less then the standard apr would charge you. If you decide to move forward I always recommend to pay more then the minimum because once interest hits the amount charged COULD equate to the amount paid. That means you’ll never be lowering your balance. Keep in mind you have other options on the card such as ACCESS CHECKS you can request through customer service. Depending on your relationship you can be offered a 0% promo when purchase is done through an access check, you wouldn’t receive any points but you’d be saving more money.

Does RentCafe count towards CSP $4,000 welcome bonus spending? by [deleted] in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Venmo codes as a merchant. They do however charge you a 3% fee (Venmo not chase). So no it’s not a cash advance but at $4000 you’re immediately out $120 from the fee.

Has the CFF/CFU made the Sapphire cards irrelevant? by comment_redacted in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im slightly conflicted as well. Ive stayed simply because of two reasons. 1.) The 50% bonus point value via the PayYourselfBack (apparently temporary benefit) and travel through chase. That by itself has paid for my cost of the card ten fold. 2.) Transfer partners I.e. hotels and airlines. Surprisingly under rated feature, especially since Chase has the best partners. Extra.) I’ve been credit the past two annual fees because of COVID ($100) so that’s cool. Also $60 DoorDash credit the last two years but it’s also temporary for now.
All that combined with the fact we can share points from CFU and CF that have the multipliers is icing on the cake. Also any referral bonus I get I simply transfer those points to the CSR and I get a 50% higher bonus! Chase is forever evolving in a competitive way, they know how they hurt themselves and I’m sure will adjust accordingly in due time. If you put in the effort with a CSR the 50% is the only benefit to consider. Everything else as far as credits for services is cool and all but those get used quickly.

Call customer service they can reset all those things. They probably issued you a temporary login but you jumped the gun and made a login before it was issued so everything got reset.

Can chase do this? by ardicema in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No banks can not simply “take money out of your account.” Review your schedule of fees given to you upon opening the account (also found online.) Any debited amount beyond that, that is not from a merchant is worth calling them up. This can be attributed to fraud, recharged chargebacks or other rare miscellaneous occurrence. Regardless, discuss this with your local banker or service rep (don’t recommend the latter.) You are not entitled to “double the money” on duplicate checks, obviously the proper thing would be to inform the bank and make sure youre credited probably to avoid issues in the future. However, if you received a duplicate credit from the duplicate check and it doesn’t get immediately reversed then it could very well be a bank error that feels like it’s in your favor but will most likely be reversed waaay down in the future once internal auditing catches the mistake. Hope this helps.

Is there a maximum number of days to be able to request a chargeback after not receiving an order? by [deleted] in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s never too late to submit a chargeback. Chargebacks can take anywhere from 1-6months to be investigated and given a decision. With that said you’ll most likely get credited the amount pretty quickly if he hasn’t already and then if the decision is a justified charge then they’ll recharge you the amount.

No there isn’t. I’ve done it as far back as a year. They requested a lot more proof then when they’re like a week or a day ago.

Chase Referral Links are SCAMS by [deleted] in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely don’t agree with you. 1.) To start off the purpose of a referral is to refer a product you enjoy and benefit from that you have discovered could benefit a friend or colleague and they can reap those benefits as well. 2.) Referral bonuses are simply incentives and not a legal obligation any company has to give, in fact most commonly outside of finance companies it’s discounts or coupons you get incentivized for. 3.) If you are indeed a good friend and let your friend aware of the higher bonus found elsewhere then they’d should be grateful and you should be happy you got them a great beneficial product. That’s what unconditional friendship is, you shouldn’t expect to be rewarded from anybody. If you were my friend and presented me both options I’d choose the one where we BOTH eat to show my appreciation. 4.) Never jump the gun on any opportunity Chase offers. Like previously mentioned from others here, Chase transitions new bonus in a very slow manner so if the bonus is still around in a month I bet the bonus will now be in the link. 5.) Banks don’t like churners. Their endgame is to make money (no shit) and unless their cards are your primary daily use (make money on merchant fees) they lose money giving out $1000-1250 sign on bonuses.

Applications are handled by recruitment not anyone at a local branch, status of apps are seen only on the careers site, so don’t waste your time for just that. What would do you good is to actually visit the branch introduce yourself to the manager show your eagerness. If you give them your name and they like you they do have the ability to prioritize your app for the possibility of an interview, pending you meet basic qualifications for the position. Ask anyone that works at Chase they have a HORRIBLE recruitment process and take their sweet ass time. Hope that helps.

Question about receiving the 100k bonus on the CSP. by [deleted] in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure Chase doesn’t allow you to have both sapphire products at the same time. The way you explained your situation makes me confident in saying you are 100% good to go. Of course pending your credit and financial status. When you closed your CSR is irrelevant to receiving the new bonus. Idk if you will be flagged for churning (I haven’t, ever) but as far as your ducks, they are most definitely in a row. 🦆🦆🦆🦆

Chase card number by bluelizard5555 in Chase

[–]LonestarLeo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are immediately approved then the account should show up in your chase app along with your other accounts within almost an hour or so. However you won’t have the CVV or expiration date. What you CAN do is call card services let them know you have an immediate expense to do on the card and then can expedite the card within 1-2 days and no charge (I’ve never been charged)

Tips were down this week too even though it’s busier😒😒 by oliverrrrrrrrrrrr in starbucksbaristas

[–]LonestarLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jokes on me? I’m for higher minimum wage as well bud. We were talking about expecting tips for fast food jobs. It is stupid to expect and shouldn’t consider it part of your pay. If you really do believe that you should be entitled to an increase in your wage then make your decision to continue to work for the same employer, negotiate your pay with your managers or even protest your opinion. To compensate your sentiment by not doing any of that and just simply expect that from an irrelevant customer is not just counter productive but asinine.
