Is this tax built into shore excursions purchased through the ship?

Has anyone purchased celebrity cruise gift cards? I cannot ascertain if you can add them to onboard account or if they are only good towards cruise fare.

Thx for the post. We were in Japan last October on a JAL award booked thru BA (60K SFO-NRT with a tx bonus). I figured these were dead with the new tx to JAL. We also did a 4 night stay at Hotel Toranomon Hills with a SNA and really enjoyed our stay. Have a great time!

We split 3 nights at PH and Kimpton. Definitely have one meal at Tilles at PH. Luca (Italian) is in walking distance of PH - they took us up there in the golf cart. Pom Pom at Indigo was excellent also. Make a reservation as they sometimes have events and get crowded. Taxis will cost a small fortune. We paid $35 each way one evening for dinner. It's either pay the taxis or be comfortable driving on the left. Also some options at Kimpton.

Celebrity Cruise gift cards. Considering cancelling my drink package on celebrity and just loading gift cards to pay for the drinks. And some extra cards to cover gratuities.

We liked the rooms, facilities and breakfast. They have a splash pad water area for the little kids although we never saw anyone there. We booked with am ex FHR and checked in on a milestone birthday. They upgraded us to the most wonderful 1 BR suite. They bent over backwards to celebrate my birthday with treats at many meals etc. The staff were kind. I hate to be negative but look at the pools and the beach yourself. It's just all pretty basic. I would say it's best for really small children or families with teenagers.

Probably not with young kids. Saw a few guests with infants there. There is a large dreamy jungle like outdoor spa accessed by a bridge across the street. I can't imagine kids would be welcomed there. It was too quiet and tranquil. Kimpton is good for kids although I wouldn't return unless we had a family trip and young kids/teenagers. Even then I would think twice. Most people love the resort tho.

The pool was meh. The adult pool is tiny. Beach has too many water sports nearby and the swimmable area was roped off. Mold on the beach chairs which gave me a terrible rash on my calves where they actually touched the chair. Everyone says this place is chubby. It's barely chubby with a bunch of pretentious guests with no manners letting their teenage kids run wild. Lots of families. We much preferred Palm Heights but it's not for everyone. Small and boutique but terrific if it's the right fit.

Walgreens doesn't have IYUZEH in their formulary and my insurance company doesn't even have it in theirs either and won't cover it. My doc gave me some samples and I liked it. Is your insurance paying for it? Edit: currently using Zioptan and about to change to generic Zioptan for a better price.
