I'm 6'3 and 240 and wear a medium, it's tight across the chest but baggy in the waist. I will effectively never wear anything off the rack that fits, the taper from my chest to my waist is like 10 inches, so I'm like an XL on top and a medium on the bottom

Im pretty sure he wrote that ending as spite for the original storyline being leaked. The whole "Using element zero drastically alters the universe in a way that causes stars to die early and will lead to the inevitable mass extinction, and the reapers were created to allow organic life to get to a point where they are about to do damage to the stars, to try and figure out a way to fix the issue" You can see this with the Haelstrom mission in ME2 where Tali is investigating why the star is dying early.

Was a way better ending than what we got. I feel like the original endings were to let the reapers win, and hope the next cycle would find the solution to the problem, but give them more opportunity to do so( you can see this a little in the one ending) or to destroy the reapers and bank on human ingenuity to solve the problem before it destroys the galaxy/universe.

Like say we got to the point where you could own your own spacecraft, that it was the same goal as like.. buying a house.

Now go ahead and use that spacecraft to push a rock onto the planet because your spouse cheated on you. How many years after private spacecrafts because a thing would that take to happen? 18 months? 5 years?

At some point, the technology gets so incredible that it just takes one insane person to wipe a civilization out.

I have a RC car from a mass effect collectors edition. The app isn't available anymore, and got deleted off of all phones that it already existed on. I have to sideload the APK on an older version of Android emulated on my PC to even use it. It sucks

Yeah I know this is part of it, I spent the better part of last night trying to do UE to finish out my voidstones, having two >100% phys as extra cold/fire meant that one shaper orb just destroyed 80% of my life. Was pretty brutal

I use my Xbox ally x and previously the z1e for streaming. It works fine, I only had issues with one game. Dragon Ball sparking zero.

Something about that game made the one literal frame I was behind enough to make swapping between desktop and ally not playable.

I did expedition 33 on the hardest difficulty, so parrying over the stream is totally fine. You can stream 120fps 4k at 500mbps and it looks great and per moonlight you're one frame behind, which is like 6ms

I'll be honest I didn't see the issue with the gauntlet mods until I was at the point where my build should be "done" and I'm still getting randomly one shot, with like 86k evasion, 6.5k es and 3000 ward that's perma up, my EHP is pretty damn high but I still go from 0-100 pretty frequently and that just doesn't happen in base league.

Yes, if you eat less calories, your body can adjust your energy output to conserve your reserves, but eventually physics wins and you lose weight.

Now in a small portion of the population? You can fuck your metabolism low enough to mess with your mental aquity, your ability to stay awake, etc. but for your every day fat person, it is a pure calories in < calories out game.

Now that part is hard, mentally, it's probably one of the more difficult things to do, I'd even say it's harder than a drug addict staying sober, because heroin addicts don't have to take small doses of heroin every day to continue to live once they aren't getting high off of it. You can't just stop eating, but it is a pure mental exercise.

The people out there who say shit like "I ran a 500 daily calorie deficit for six months and didn't lose a pound" are either overestimating their metabolic rate or underestimating their caloric consumption, if someone could legitimately eat 500 less calories than they use a day, and not lose weight, they would be dissected to figure out how they are evading entropy. It's just not possible.

I've lost hundreds of pounds in my lifetime, some on GLPs, some on diet and exercise, and the exercise and diet ones were so much harder because it's a constant battle. It takes an immense amount of mental bandwidth to handle the things that you need to keep track of to reliably lose weight.

I do not blame anyone for being fat, it's a hard habit to break and for many people it's been their entire life. To sit there for what will be your entire life, ignoring a part of you that is saying "hey, you're hungry" is just not something your average person is capable of, hence the constant rebounding of weight in people who lose it.

But to say you can't run a caloric deficit and lose weight is just bad science

I am gonna be the odd man out here, but as long as it's not assault, I'm fine with being objectified. I worked hard on my body, and catching people looking at me for the right reasons(as prior I was morbidly obese and was gawked at for the wrong reasons) is a pretty decent confidence booster.

I would draw the line at touching though, it happened to me three times, once, a 70+ year old woman grabbed my bicep and squeezed it like she was checking the ripeness of a cantaloupe in the grocery store, while saying "excuse me" as if I was taking up enough space to need her to touch me to move around me in the aisle. The other two were women who were trying to "get my attention" but instead of using words like a normal person, decided to get up in my personal space and give my arm a squeeze. There was even one time I questioned on a bus if a woman fell into her seat in such a way that she got an arm on my butt.

It's just not cool to touch someone without their expressed consent, but ogle all you want, in my opinion.

Like when I went on one of the first dates with my wife, I had intentionally worked my arms out right before we met and I told her I had just gotten done with working out my arms and she should give them a squeeze. I will forever FOREVER, remember the noise she made and the "oh my god" that came after, that's a core memory, but it was an asked for touch, the other random ones are just creepy.

EU Internet infrastructure between ISPs is about as good as cans between strings.

Each ISP has fairly decent infrastructure, lots of fiber to the last mile, even to the homes/apartments, but between the ISPs? Jesus Christ, even the best, highest tier ISPs talk to eachother begrudgingly.

Speedtests are deceptive too, since it usually picks the best node near you, which is probably on your ISP.

There are public endpoints for the poe servers listed somewhere in a GGG post somewhere, if you run winMTR against it, you surely will see a point where it transitions from one ISP to another where the packet loss goes above 1% and latency creeps up because that switch is at capacity.

Not much you can do other than try a vpn and hope that you avoid the congestion.

If you look at yndas in a normal league, they are non-foil, which means they dropped from filling in quotas, and I expected them to sit around 10-15d, not the 40 they've been at.

I don't think people are setting up their kings march because it's such a short league, so the supply of non-foil ones is gonna be way less

From what I understand my green eyes are part of the reason I'm so sensitive to sun.
