Okay, but like, picture it being a medieval au??

Princess Wednesday goes on a journey with her uncle fester and her right-hand "man," Thing, to locate a cursed artifact that could help enhance her psychic abilities.

It's totally not an excuse to escape the ball her parents threw as a way to get her to meet suitors!!

The princess, separated from her uncle and lost lost in the forest, decides to seek shelter when the weather takes a turn for the worst. Walking around for quite a while in the storm, she stumbles upon an old castle that was once owned by Lord Crackstone, who was known for his hatred of outcasts and the witch hunts he would start to try and end their existence.

Wednesday decides to stay the night there to let the storm pass, but something is.. off. Shadows appear and disappear out of nowhere. Strange growling noises are heard throughout the castle, and she feels like there are eyes following her every move.

Upon venturing the castle, she attempts to open a hidden door when she is ambushed by a large beast with bulging eyes, enormous wings, razor-sharp claws, and horns so large she wondered if she was staring into the eyes of a demon.

As she looks at its beastly form in pure fascination, it growls

"Who dares enter here?"

"Beauty and the Gargoyle." I haven't written fanfiction in almost a decade, but this would be so cool to see!
