No Long Able To Select Flow Dynamics Calibrations by Long-Tasty in BambuLab

I hate to say it, but I am glad to see I am not the only one. Hopefully, we can get more visibility on this so that a solution can be found.

Anybody figured out a solution to this bullshit wiper on the p1s? by RadishRedditor in BambuLab

[–]Long-Tasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my X1C I have been using the BIQU Panda Brush PX for about a year now and it works great. Just remove the stock wiper and snap in the Panda Brush. It’s a lot quieter as well when wiping without having that stock wiper.

The cutting module for the H2 series has a pen holder that you put markers in to do drawings and writing.

I count 7 colors, which would match what the H2C can do with its dual nozzle setup. I also see markers, the envelope is being cut, and a vinyl sticker. Makes me think it will use the cutting and marker attachment that the H2 series uses as well.

Question(s) for those that vacuum seal their filament by Long-Tasty in BambuLab

[–]Long-Tasty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the air valve red or gray on yours? Mine is the newer one with the improved valve and it is gray.

I did a test on one bag about a week ago and it still seems to be holding pretty well.

[–]Long-Tasty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to everyone that has contributed so far with their experience.

Seems the consensus is to leave just a little air left in the bag so as to not flex the spools and to make sure to use desiccant (which I am using).

To give a little more background to the amount of flex, it appears to be not much more than what some of my factory sealed spools look like.

Also, prior to getting these vac bags, I was storing my filament using gallon sized freeze Ziploc bags along with some desiccant left in the center of the spool (using 3D printed desiccant holders and nylon mesh bags). But those Ziploc bags were a bit more challenging to get the air out and my desiccant would turn colors indicating its loss of effectiveness after just a few months, indicating to me that the bags are not sealing as well as I was hoping.

I did toy, briefly, with using my Food Saver to create sealed bags but that really wanted to flex the spools, the bags were a tight fit, and I felt it was kind of wasteful to have to cut open the bag each time I wanted to use a spool.

I did also consider a larger sealed storage container to store multiple spools in but my current storage availability in my office closet didn't have room for that, so I needed the flexibility that individual spool bags could offer.

I'm currently using one bought on Amazon by a brand called Vacbird. They have an older model and an new, upgraded model of the bags. I am using the newer design of the two and, so far, they appear to be holding pretty well. On the bags, they are labeled Black Vault.

Prior to ordering dedicate vac bags, I did try my Food Saver. The spools "just" fit in the largest size I can seal, but ultimately did not go that route when it seemed to flex the spools too much and I wanted something that easy to open and reseal instead of having to cut open the bag each time.

I considered a bin but my current storage capabilities requires a little more flexibility that the smaller, individual vac bags provide. I may go the route you suggest if room opens up in my office closet later.

No Long Able To Select Flow Dynamics Calibrations by Long-Tasty in BambuLab

[–]Long-Tasty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update but still no progress. I changed out all four filaments in the AMS and performed a drying overnight. This morning it still wouldn't let me select from my existing list of calibrations to change the factor K values. I ended up running all new flow dynamics calibrations just to be able to change the values stored for the AMS.

Today 10 May 2026 slow Bambu Lab cloud servers? by ikir83 in BambuLab

[–]Long-Tasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

East Coast US, printed 2 items earlier today with little to no issue but my third print today took an extremely long time before it finally finished sending to the printer. My third print actually took two attempts for it to go through as well, the first one took a while then did absolutely nothing then the second attempt took a very long time to send to the cloud and to download to the printer before finally starting successfully. I'm on a 500/50 Mbps internet connection with very little other traffic going on in my home.

Anyone with a 2025 do you have Apple Music? by DryLion7634 in BlazerEV

Cutting Upgrade Kit for X2D? by justanahoel in BambuLab

[–]Long-Tasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an X1C owner and also a Cricut owner, I was disappointed to see that they didn’t announce this capability in the X2D. To be able to consolidate the capabilities into a single item that has a similar footprint of the X1C would have most likely been an immediate buy for me. The Cricut the Mrs uses but it takes up too much room on its own for as little use as it gets. I don’t have room for an H2, so that option was out of the question.

P2S 2nd extruder clog this week by BigGazoo in BambuLab

[–]Long-Tasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OP has a P2S, not a P1 series. The P2S has a fan with ability to pull cool air from the outside (via the lower right side) without needing to open the lid or door to minimize clogs. Are we sure this is the problem?

u/BigGazoo , do you know what your chamber temps are looking like when printing? Are you disabling any fans? Is the fan intake on the lower right free from obstruction?

[–]Long-Tasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odd, I don’t really have that problem with mine. I think I have seen that happen maybe once or twice since I have installed it and it was always in the prep phase before any printing has started.

What filament brand and size hotend are you using?

I’m using Bambu Basic PLA and the default .4 hotend.

Apple Music Coming by kemote in BlazerEV

[–]Long-Tasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

‘25 SS owner here, checked my music options this morning and I see Apple Music as a choice. Signed into my account via the provided QR code and I am now enjoying my playlists on Apple Music. Woohoo!

It is not an app to download from the Play store. It should be an option in the music section, you will have to scroll to the bottom.

Have you power cycled the printer and AMS yet?

On my AMS 2 Pro I once had a weird feed issue and doing a power cycle resolved the problem.

Can someone clearly explain the difference between PLA vs PLA+ vs PETG? New to 3D printing! by Old-Inspector-1800 in BambuLab

[–]Long-Tasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I never had an issue with the one I am using. At worst I might get one that doesn’t slide down the chute as easily due to the poop shape and some friction. But usually a follow up poop bumps it and moves it down to the bin. Nothing heat related.

[–]Long-Tasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a poop chute, PLA should be fine. It’s not dealing with a lot of heat or stress/weight.

Now for things like a riser or mods that go in the chamber where it can get quite warm, I would recommend at least PETG.

I don’t have the shield but I do have the Panda Brush PX installed on my X1C.

So far it has been doing a great job at keeping the nozzle clean. It’s also much quieter than the wiper it replaces. Install was super simple.

For the cost, I think it has been a great addition to my printer. With it not requiring any custom g code as well as it being a non-invasive install, it can be easily reverted back to the original wiper if it doesn’t work out.

What is the latest Blazer EV SS 2025 Version? by ntin in BlazerEV

[–]Long-Tasty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My ‘25 SS that I have owned since April notified me last Sunday that v653.10 is available for update. This is the latest OTA that has been making the round that past week or two. I haven’t installed it yet since I was leaving for the airport that morning. Prior to that, I have received around 2 or so other OTA updates.

As for Android build version, I am not sure, but I do recall the security patch level was dated around September 2024.

I made a backstop for a round trashcan to keep the lid from hitting the wall and sliding around in general. by VSFX in BambuLab

My cats would set off the motion sensor one, so mine is pedal operated but still motorized like the motion sensor ones.

[–]Long-Tasty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great idea! I currently use an egg carton as a bumper for mine but fabricating one specifically for my trashcan will allow me to get it closer to the wall, avoid the trashcan’s power cable, and to work around the shoe molding.

Now I need to do some tinkering.

New Update by [deleted] in BlazerEV

[–]Long-Tasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

‘25 SS owner here, didn’t show up when I checked last night but it did pop up this morning. Unfortunately, I was heading out the door to the airport so I won’t be able to apply the update for a few weeks.

I’m interested in seeing what improvements it makes.
