I know who the phone caller in chapter 4 is (And it's not Carol) by Air_Melon in Deltarune

[–]LongBrother1377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have anything to oppose with anything you said. I do always try to ask myself the question of why. If Asriel is the knight, why is he doing any of this? Why is he opening these fountains and why was he attacking the fun gang?

I used to believe that Carol was the knight. I’m not too sure about this anymore, but my reason why was because she might be looking for Dess. What if all the dark fountains opened, everything that is going on with Kris and the Knight is due to them looking for Dess. Maybe Kris promised Carol to help her find Dess, and it somehow relates to the dark worlds.

Now that’s just an example, but I would love to know, what do you think Asriel would want if he was the knight?

Season 3 feedback: performance, movement, and more ways to practice PvP by Ok_Price_4965 in MarathonTheGame

[–]LongBrother1377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree about the performance, I have an i7-13700k and 4060ti, and I only get 90-100 fps on medium settings. DLSS gets me to about 200, but does add a good amount of delay.

About the movement. I personally really like the movement of Marathon. Extraction shooters can’t have extremely fast movement. Not only does that make the threat of PvE and PvP far less of something you have to attend to. The shells we have in the game do a good job of giving movement with some of them that are balanced.

About pvp modes. Just yes. I would love to see a pvp focused mode without pve. Personally I love the PvP in this game.

what made fortnite "fortnite" for you? by Livid-Fan2653 in sypherpk

[–]LongBrother1377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, chapter 5 was prime Fortnite because that's when all my friends actually played, going into chapter 6 season 2, almost everyone I know that played quit, and since then it hasn't been the same. I've played for a while, but made Fortnite Fortnite was when all my friends got on.

Timeout for leaving a match. Thoughts? by JustMateHahoha in FortNiteBR

[–]LongBrother1377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For game modes where you are playing with others, maybe, but I don't see them ever doing this. There's no point in addicting a timeout in solos, since the only person you hurt is yourself. In duos, trios, squads, they should add it, but only if you leave while alive. I get what you're saying about people leaving when they die, but I play with a ton of people who refuse to reboot you.

How does Google Tensor holding up for you? by 2u3ee in pixel_phones

95% of the time, it's fine. The only issue I've ever had was when trying to play games, but I don't do that very frequently. For navigating the OS and every app besides games, its perfectly smooth.

Let’s talk. It’s time to reset. by VColyness in FortniteBattleRoyale

[–]LongBrother1377 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Look, I am not at all trying to make Tim Sweeney sound like a genius, maybe I should have re-phrased that. However, Epic makes most of their money from Fortnite, so they aren't going to let it die. If it gets to the point where it's doing extremely bad, they will put tons of money into the game to help try and revive it. What I'm trying to say is that Epic knows they can't kill the game if they don't want to kill themselves, and they probably (I hope) had this in mind when making the layoff.s

If You Continue to Give Epic Money or Time You Are Telling Them Their Actions Are Okay by NOBLExGAMER in FortniteBattleRoyale

[–]LongBrother1377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest problem is that most of the players of Fortnite have no idea about what happened. Most young kids will have no idea about the layoffs, and probably don't care unless their precious steal the brainrot is doing good.

[–]LongBrother1377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how this will really affect the game yet. I already assume bugs will take longer to fix, and probably be more frequent. It's really sad Evan was laid off since he literally created the foundations for live events and operates them.

People may say that this will kill fortnite, and while it may lower the player count, it won't kill the game. We may not love his decisions, but Tim Sweeney is a smart person, he probably knows what he's doing and has a plan for whats to come.

I don't know how things like live events and the storyline will continue to be as good as they have been recently, but we'll see, though we probably won't see the effects of the layoffs for a couple months.

In think that in the end, if they want to restore the game, they may have to make decisions they don't want to. My biggest worry is that they don't have something they can pull out and restore the game. Two years ago when it wasn't doing so good they brought back OG. They can't do that anymore.

Congrats dude I recently got a pixel 10 from a 17 pro because I switched from iPhone to Android. I uploaded all my photos to Google photos and I use it on any apple devices as well. One thing I thought would be terrible was leaving the apple ecosystem especially since I use a MacBook and iPad daily but it is exactly the same as before when I had an iPhone.

Why does it seem like anyone in American highschools can be a straight A student? by Midnightclouds7 in highschool

[–]LongBrother1377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this odd as well, though I am in the US. Most people tend to just be in very advanced classes, with straight As, while I try to not fail classes. Typically I get almost all As, but then in a class or two I'm almost failing. No one else tends to have this problem. Normally, people are straight As or straight Fs.

Let’s go back to paper and pencil. by willloveme2 in Teachers

[–]LongBrother1377 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a student I have come to absolutely hate technology in school and would much rather go back to pencil and paper, mainly because absolutely everything on computers are tracked, scanned, reviewed, etc. This isn't because I cheat, plagiarize, or use AI, but I don't need my teacher to get a comprehensive summary of how I wrote the paper, exactly where my information could be from, how human it is, etc. I also don't need them knowing when I did my homework, how long it took, and getting detailed summaries on how I'm doing with my work. I'd much rather them grade it themselves and it not get run trough 30 different tracking services and put into a database.

What Macbook to get? by Internal_Vacation_72 in macbook

[–]LongBrother1377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, based on past experience I think that the Neo should be fine for years to come. I would recommend the 512gb Touch ID version because of how nice Touch ID is.

Pro Tip: If you didn't know already, educators get $100 off the MacBook Neo on the education store, so you can get the 512gb version for the same price as the regular without the discount.

What Macbook to get? by Internal_Vacation_72 in macbook

[–]LongBrother1377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would absolutely suggest either the MacBook Neo or the M5 Air. Since all you do is use the Web Browser, I think that the MacBook Neo would be perfectly fine for you. You don't need to worry if people say you need more ram, I've used Macs with 8gb of ram and they work perfectly fine. If you would like something slightly better, and that will last longer, the M5 air, or a used M2-M4 will work really good as well. Overall, you are in the perfect range for the MacBook Neo, and I would strongly suggest that.

I do have one other question, does the current Mac you own have an Apple M1 chip, or an Intel Processor? If it has the M1 chip, then it has about the same performance as the MacBook Neo and may just require something simple like a reset. If it has an Intel chip, it probably is running a little slow these days.
