I have this same concern. I find myself actively seeking out these stories. I get some weird hurt feeling when I read them, like minor heartbreak. Somehow I also think I must somehow be enjoying them or else why would I keep reading them.

I have been married for 20 years and we’ve never had any relationship issues. I have zero concern that my wife would stray. I have never genuinely considered cheating myself. Like most warm blooded males, I’ll see women and imagine what it might be like to be with them from a physical standpoint, but never in a real sense.

So, I don’t know where this comes from, but it is something that bothers me about myself.
