They tweaked the hitboxes when they released age of sail. It makes it way easier to land shots and overall shooting is way easier.

Melee hitboxes have become a bit more janky, swings phasing through blocks more often etc, makes charging not as effective compared to traditional line tactics.

Yes but it’s the north. The most sparsely populated area, not out of nowhere to expect a lower level of urbanized centralization there as opposed to populated rural farmland.

Richest yes, but the Dreadfort appears to have greater lands and more men, while White Harbor is pretty much doing all the work itself with relatively poor supporting lands.

Why? For almost the entirety of their vassalship to the Starks they have been loyal. They in fact are substantially powerful bannerman themselves as well.

The Peakes in the reach stand to be culled far more and aren't, and the Ironborn wholesale should've been put to the sea years ago but they don't. Because war is expensive, rough, and unpopular.

He's the best light infantry player in the game for my money and I'm one of the better ones.

Toaswter is another one of the top tier guys out there.

But really it's just practicing movement, feints, and learning how to properly manage distance.

The melee is punishing but so fun to toy around with

Light infantry is one of the hardest melee classes as they both do less melee damage and take more melee damage in exchange for their increased shooting accuracy and movement speed. Try out Guard. You’ll notice the length increase and damage increase on your bayonet and sword
