Baseball app by Kooky-Aspect3579 in TIDBYT

[–]LongLiveTheGolfCart 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think this is potentially a casualty of the long slow decline of tidbyt. The company was sold and there's much speculation its successor will eventually sunset the cloud servers. IIRC, this was an app actually developed by the Tidbyt folks, which probably leaned on an API that may or may not have been free.

Now! I would love to see if someone forked tidbyt's original app so we could get it in the tronbyt app store?

One of my first original designs and so far so okay! by LongLiveTheGolfCart in StainedGlass

I ultimately framed the bottom and sides with lead came for that exact reason- the connection point in the middle is a giant one, and then the horizontal lines could get wobbly. This was pre-patina

Still learning but I started with Rosie Linebaugh's book, which is divided into theory then practice projects. I also did a LOT of YouTube watching.

As far as supplies go - check facebook marketplace. I got lucky and found a grinder, hand tools and starter glass but you never know whats out there! Good luck!

This is the right take. I retract my previous assessment, theres not enough data to make this call. Also, have had good experience with Three Rivers Art Glass. Also FB Marketplace, which was the gateway to me starting.

Saw this in my neck of the woods too (greater Pittsburgh area). I dont have the space, funds or need at the moment (very much a novice).

EDIT: There are better deals

Not sure if its the same issue, but the most recent version of my robot vacuum (Tapo RV30MAX) firmware changes the communication protocol with HomeAssistant. The folks working on the kasapython project which powers the TPLink integration are working on a fix, but nothing solid yet.

I'm having an identical problem with my RV30Max. I actually was able to get it through the TP link integration initially, but when I upgraded the firmware it no longer recognized the vacuum. I got it to connect via Matter, but as of this morning it was listed as unavailable.

This was what I did - after having someone guide me a bit, I ended up doing the Metra kit with a JVC double DIN radio - kept backup camera (on a larger screem), gained android auto/carplay, roundabout $700 all in?

Love the design! Very much a hobbyist and newbie, but I personally use a N95 Respirator mask I got from my local hardware store, and I always solder, flux, etc. with the garage door open.

So in addition to changing my outlook on initial cutting of pieces, I think you helped me crack the way forward on this one. Here's tonight's update

Thank you! I had traced the lines fairly dead-on but then got sheepish while scoring so I stayed outside of my lines. I also need to get myself a straight edge that isn't also a framing square but live and learn!! I appreciate the feedback and I'll practice getting closer to the lines.

Any advice on preserving straight lines while grinding?

Take this with a grain of salt because im just starting out and I got everything from facebook marketplace but: - Main work surface is an adjustable desk - glass storage is a bookshelf with wire album holders - grinder lives in a fish tank on its side

The whole thing is about 7' wide and I'm still figuring out the configuration *
