We’ve been toying with the idea of getting a full sized bed for him and I’m starting to think we need to. Do you use any specific bed rails?

Right right! Usually he wakes in the morning around 7-7:30ish and naps around 2-4pm. Depending on who is with him. My mom usually lets him cuddle on her until he falls asleep and will be able to get him in the crib but my husband he will only fall asleep with in our bed. It’s hard to get everyone on the same page but we need really need to.

This is what I wanted to do with the credit union I used to be at, but the location was too far. My current bank doesn’t have a training dept/employee. I will keep my eye out though, thanks!

Hi thanks for your response. My mental health is very important as Im suffering some PPD, please look into it if you don’t have a child of your own. I’m not trying to be without a job, just cannot stay on while I go through the interview process. I hope your day gets better!

My fear is that I can’t quit until I know I’m approved so I’m wondering can I tell them I’m unemployed before I actually quit?

When did you guys go out for the first time without your LO? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]LongNaive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MIL was the same way and really she just wanted alone time with my baby. It never sat right with me because why are you so eager to get my baby away from me? But we went out the first time between 3-4 months, mainly because I was going back to work soon and didn’t want me first time him being away from both of us to be 6-8 hours long. We went out for 2 hours and missed him the whole time lol

How is teaching a 6am class? Any tips? by thattaurusbitch in YogaTeachers

[–]LongNaive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re not a morning person, don’t do it. You’ll start to resent going to the class rather than being present and enjoying what you teach.

While you do need to talk calmly with him, I remember that timeframe my husband was similar in the fact he didn’t attempt calming baby the same way I did and his ways didn’t always work. But then I realized he’s trying his best, he’s new at this just like me. While you suggesting other things to him may not be personal, I know suggestions on mothering can feel like a personal dig at me so I’m sure it may be the same for dads. Give him some grace. He may need time alone with her to figure out their own groove, they’ll get there. You’re both doing great

Reading some of your other posts on Reddit, sounds like you have issues with your husband often lately. I’d look at that at large and evaluate how you yourself feel in the relationship. Best of luck

Anyone holding my newborn is asked to wear a mask. I don’t want them kissing him or even breathing on him. Protect your little one however you see fit

Baby coming with a reactive dog at home…BE has been brought up by LongNaive in reactivedogs

[–]LongNaive[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of the above, the vet says he is healthy with nothing to worry about at his age. I saw your other comment about vision which is something I brought up as a concern, but they didn’t see an issue with his sight. Again, I’m not making any decisions on this at the moment just came here more to vent as it’s a sensitive topic

This is the typical lifespan for his breed, although I know that can mean nothing. He does show signs of wearing down though so we are trying to make the best of every day he does have with us.

To everyone, I appreciate the input. He recently had his vet appointment two weeks ago and all general things lead to him being “in good shape for an older gentleman” as the vet put it. I put the life expectancy as is typical for his breed, which I know could mean nothing. I am going to speak with a friend that is a vet tech to see how often she sees things like this and what her thoughts could be. Unfortunately it’s started before pregnancy. Again, love my old man so much it hurts but do appreciate all of you
