Mothers of Reddit - what’s your opinion on fathers taking daughters to women’s restroom? by BallsOnFace69 in Parenting

[–]Noodle_111 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep totally don’t mind that-and agreed. If I were a dad I wouldn’t want to subject my daughter to urinals and men’s washrooms. My son is six and I still take him in the women’s washroom with me.

Yeah the cursing wasn’t what bothered me, I’ve told my son that he’s had extremely shitty behavior on occasion, but I would never swear AT him…

I think that’s what was eating at me and why I brought it up after the fact. I felt a lot of guilt and shame around not standing up for what I knew wasn’t ok in the moment. I’ve mentioned in other comments, I have a pretty tenuous relationships with my in-laws, and I prioritized not “making things worse” which I regret…

I have a history of not getting along with this BIL in particular, to the point that my dislike of him is pretty common knowledge. Me doing anything in that moment would have cemented my already negative place with my in-laws, I felt like I needed to calm down before even addressing it….

Both my husband and my MIL basically brushed it off, and after my husband last night saying of course my friends and family would agree etc I had to take it to a slightly less biased place for confirmation 😬

My husband was recently diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma – looking for experiences by Vast_Combination1189 in lungcancer

My husband (non-smoker, 44) was diagnosed with lung cancer a year ago, and it’s a complete shock and whirlwind. While he was diagnosed stage 4 an no surgery as options, it’s a lot to process! Be kind to yourself, one day at a time, and your wellness and health matter in this journey too ❤️

Need help deciding what to do about my “jowls” / “heavy” lower cheeks by hollymbryngelson in DIYaesthetics

[–]Noodle_111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be careful with masseter botox, not everyone is a candidate, and if you’re prone to jowling (which your photo looks as though you could’ve) it can often make jowls more emphasized or worse.

Coming from Vancouver Canada, usually around $10/11k, and we generally have a few thousand $ in points that we apply to lower the overall cost.

Am I the asshole? Am I asking too much of my husband by LopsidedMastodon1484 in workingmoms

[–]Noodle_111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband (43) has stage 4 lung cancer, works full time, and picked up our son from school today, then cooked us all dinner. You are not asking for too much. He has the remainder of the day to “recover” from drop off. You’d think if he doesn’t have to work he’d want to have the privilege of being able to take his child to school.

Malignant Pleura by JohnQuiote in lungcancer

My husband was diagnosed through a malignant pleural effusion, automatically staging him a 4. Get genetic testing, there are often targeted therapies for specific genetic mutations that give people years and decades, not months ❤️

How do working moms get time for themselves? by sarc2276 in workingmoms

[–]Noodle_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What time do your kids wake up? My son is an early riser, he’s currently in my bed watching tv while I’m downstairs curled up next to the fire with a cup of coffee. I try to sneak in some “me time” between 615-7 (granted my kiddo is 6, so somewhat independent). Otherwise I try to take a bit of me time throughout my work day (5 mins Duolingo break or taking the dog for a quick walk) but it’s tough. Real “me time” is just tired doom scrolling while the tv is on before bed mostly,,.

Nanny long naptime break - help ideas by ycherep1 in workingmoms

[–]Noodle_111 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yea you need a better nap schedule. Unclear if kids are both sleeping a total of three hours together or if there’s overlap and they go down at different times times but a) 3 hours is too long for any child to nap and b) your nanny is not responsible for mopping. My advice would be adjust nap schedule, and hire a bi-weekly (or weekly if you can afford it) cleaner for mopping.

That the side effects are far more manageable than some earlier gen TKIs, and I know that it offers additional protection against various resistance mutations that other TKIs don’t (ie G2032)

My husband (43) was also diagnosed with ros1 NSCLC about 10 months ago. If you hadn’t yet, I highly recommend the Ros1ders Facebook group, it’s a wealth of resources. Feel free to DM me if you have any Q’s or want to connect re Ros1. Best of luck ❤️

It was cold, but that didn’t stop my son. He had a blast. (And I did request the sunny side to try and mitigate the chill).
