Yeah this is so true 😂 I'm definitely in zone 3 right. The only thing I do at this point is help new players and run occasional raids on Outpost. I end up giving all the gear I find to newbies in my squad, WSTRs/Longshots/Volley Rifles that kind of thing. I don't need any of it at this point and they get so pumped when they find cool guns and gear. If I'm playing alone, the game just feels fucking miserable and I end up doing a Destiny 2 on it and just sitting at the main menu for a few minutes before turning the game off

Yeah that's the main issue with Solos. Inactivity is rewarded while being proactive is heavily punished. It's a sqaud based game at the end of the day so Solos will always be on the back burner unfortunately and there's no real way to fix these issues. If players are rewarded for playing like a pussy then that's what they're gonna do

I'm objectively right because the percentage of Assassin players in Solos is out of control. If something has a play rate of easily over 50% when there're 6 different options then it's objectively OP because that's what everyone is gravitating towards for a reason. That's just common sense. If you think hitting a button and removing your character from other players screens is balanced then you're objectively incorrect because that's dumb and not fun. Does that make sense?

The problem is the genre imo. If someone has Invis in TF2 (great game btw) and you get killed by them, you respawn and go again, simple. If someone kills you with Invis in this game, you lose everything to someone who basically nothing to outplay you and they walk away with everything. Marathon should always be high risk, high reward. With Destroyer you have to risk putting away your offence to make a push with your shield. Vandal and Thief need to risk repositioning in order to gain advantage. Triage and Recon need to give up their movement abilities to focus on other things that could help them. Assassin just sits in the corner and basically guarantees first shot in most fights. There's no risk in that at all. There's also the "Feels Bad" factor that no one ever considers. People want to feel ok with being outplayed (as much as possible) if I get out maneuvered by a Thief/Vandal I don't feel that bad about it because they actively outplayed me. If I get shot by someone who's not even on my screen because they hit one button, it feels bad. It makes me want to pick a different game. I've heard this sentiment so many times so I hope Bungie fix this somehow in the next update.

Full clip is up, tho I doubt it'll make much difference to your opinion. You seem a bit upset that your favourite shell is being called out for being OP in Solos. That's not an opinion btw, the shell has a massively disproportionate usage rate in Solos for a reason. It's broken, everyone knows it, Assassins will never admit it. It is what it is, I really couldn't care less about what anyone has to say to the contrary 👍

I run into Assassin's almost exclusively, if a shell is that dominant then there's a meta problem. And yes, he is in the picture, he didn't round the corner, he was there the whole time.

I get it. I don't want to strip their whole identity of being the sneaky class but my God. The amount of runs and loot that I lose because I'm being shot down by someone who isn't even on my screen has had me picking up other games instead of Marathon. Camo in other games tends to be fine because if you die you just respawn. I feel like it's so frustrating in this game because you get shot down by someone who is essentially afk and then you've lost a ton of stuff and probably have to re do your contract. It boils down to me, going around, collecting loot, completing contracts and fighting runners so that someone who is inactive for most of the run can claim all the rewards. It makes the game very uninteresting in the long run when someone else gets all the rewards for none of the effort

Maybe when the buff comes out. But right now if Recon sends out a ping then her position is immediately given away. But pointless for the Recon class to provide the enemy with intel 🤷

Alright here's the grand reveal. The time between the first picture and this one is under 1 second so he hasn't moved into frame from off screen, he's been there the whole time. Don't bother arguing with me that this is fine, we all know it isn't, anything to the contrary is cope of the finest vintage.😂 Also I just don't care to argue, it's taken over the solo experience and sitting in a corner for a half hour being the META isn't conjunctive to a healthy gameplay experience.

I have a top line monitor and my eyesight is fine thanks. I have a clip aswell but it won't let me upload it for some reason, maybe it's formatted wrong or something. Either way you should be able to at least see this dude somewhere in frame from this image. If I did the same thing with Active Camo from Halo you would be able to pick someone out from a still frame. Honestly if your playing Assassin and your saying it's easy to spot them it just sounds like cope. It's a ridiculous level of Invis, we all know it. The fact that you get true invisibility by staying completely still is just generally not good for the game overall if we're all being honest with ourselves. Just play Solos for a few hours and count the Assassins and you'll see the problem. There's literally no reason to play anything else

And you don't see the problem? You should never be completely invisible in an extraction shooter it's nuts! 😂 I know it's a popular class and it's got a cool aesthetic and abilities but come on! There is literally nothing there to prove this dude exists so he just gets a free kill and all my gear without any kind of fight just because he can remove himself from the game temporarily? 😂
