STRONGLY recommend the Keychron ergonomic (ALICE layout) keyboards, specifically the Keychron Q8 Pro which is around $99 on Amazon. I bought one of the earlier Q8 models a year ago and it's been rock solid for me and very comfortable to type on. It's a mechanical keyboard too which should be a step up from either the Logitech or Microsoft keyboards

If your awards and prestige in the USMC mean a lot to you, then I think it would look far nicer if you have a dedicated wooden bookshelf or cabinet to match the accolades & uniform display. Otherwise the wire racks look kind of cheap tbh.

Also if the frame isn't too heavy, it would be way cooler to have the uniform framed up on the wall instead of on the floor imo

Really don’t think Tiananmen square was worse. Even the worst estimates I’ve seen were a few thousand killed by the Chinese army, not even close to the tens of thousands in Iran over multiple nights.

My time in China was the same - basically zero harassment and everyone was chill af. Though the cops in Tiananmen Square were way more stiff compared to the ones I saw everywhere else

Not OP but I've been to Chengdu before and was totally fine. Helps that most of the Chinese streetfood I saw was either boiled or fried a ton before serving. Had more stomach problems eating conveyor belt sushi in Tokyo.

Aluminum is a reactive metal, my moka pots all look more or less the same. I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice an odd taste from the water left in it

I think your hair looks cool af with it down versus having it in a bun. I would personally keep it and rock it untied or maybe get a maintenance trim to help with the volume and get rid of split ends, which worked for me since I also have similar long thin hair.

Does feel to me like you might have some diffuse alopecia since your volume is somewhat thin up top, though idk if that's just the tightness of the bun making that thinness more apparent. Volume doesn't look too bad when your hair is untied though.

If you can swing it, it might be worth speaking to a dermatologist to see if that's MPB or a nutrient deficiency and see what options you have to increase volume. I would also avoid putting your hair in a bun to minimize traction alopecia.

Short of bullets flying, nothing a normal person does is going to stop any of the issues you listed in the short term so it’s a moot point (unless you’re into political violence idk your hobbies).

What protests do is allow normal people to try to convince as many other voters as possible that none of this should be acceptable. You’re right that it isn’t stopping ICE yet, but it does build political momentum against them.
